Well once again I returned to Sport Chevrolet to purchase a new pickup truck. On February 10, 2022 I made the deal to trade in my 2016 Silverado that I purchased from Sport in July od 2016. I had just short a new pickup truck. On February 10, 2022 I made the deal to trade in my 2016 Silverado that I purchased from Sport in July od 2016. I had just short of 90,000 miles on the truck and although now may not have been the best market to purchase in, it was however a great time for the trade value of my 2016. The new 2021 Silverado (yes I bought a new 2021 not 2022) has options my old truck didn't and the old had some the new truck doesn't, I am still pleased with the purchase. My salesman, Eldon Charles has been my go to guy for over a decade for personal and even company vehicles. He treats me fairly and you would almost think we were old friends for life. He never tries to up sell me and always shows be the advantages of one new vehicle over the next. The sales manager Clint Rose has the most easy going approach to closing out the deals and then passed me off to Abel Rezene a finance manager who also quickly explained all finance options. He found the best and lowest interest rate then, shared all options for extended warranties an protection plans. Again no pressure to purchase anything not needed for my amount of use of this vehicle. I have purchased many cars over the years, some from other competitor locally as well as by other manufactures, but I will say Sport's team never disappoints to make the transaction seem quick and painless. Thanks once again for a stress free vehicle purchase. I will see you at my regular service visits! More

He was incredibly pleasant and helpful, and strikes me as a reasonable and trustworthy man. He refunded me the difference in what I paid versus the number I had been quoted. I am satisfied with that resolution, and while I paid more than I would have at the dealership versus going to a tire shop, that is to be expected and the amount was not as unreasonable as my initial bill. However, I cannot recommend doing business with Sport Chevrolet. While my experience with Gibbs was good, his service department still engages in unethical business practices by recommending unnecessary services at a 3-400% markup compared to independent shops. Specifically, I was told I needed a brake fluid flush for $400, despite my vehicle's service manual specifying I would not need one for several more years, and local shops charging between $100 and $150 for a flush. As mentioned above, I was also charged twice as much (over $500) as I was quoted ($230) for a single new tire and alignment. Gibbs refunded the difference (again, thank you), but I should not have needed to write these reviews to correct that. *Original review below* Untrustworthy. Brought my car in for a flat tire and was recommended to get an unnecessary service that was not only not necessary based on the vehicle maintenance schedule, but was also 4x the price of going to an auto body shop. I only had my car towed here (my car doesn't carry a spare) because it was the closest dealership to my house and Chevy roadside assistance only pays for a tow to a dealership. Next time, I'll use AAA and go somewhere that doesn't have the most sketchy, clichéd business practices and a markup of 2-3 times what I'd have paid going literally anywhere else. More

While I was waiting for a new FOB, I met JR Ramirez to test drive a Bolt EUV. JR impressed me from the get go. He knew the electric vehicle line well and he demonstrated all of the features. His presentation was impressive that I brought my family back to try it out. I am the type of person that hates car buying. I dread going in. JR understood that as a working parent with a small child that my time could not be wasted. He was no pressure and approachable. After doing my research on the car a bit more, I went back and bought the Bolt EUV. If you're looking for an electric vehicle, I can't emphasize enough how important it is to work with a salesperson that knows electric vehicles and what you need. More
