He was incredibly pleasant and helpful, and strikes me as *edit* Review update: The owner, Gibbs, contacted me immediately after posting my review. He was incredibly pleasant and helpful, and strikes me as a reasonable and trustworthy man. He refunded me the difference in what I paid versus the number I had been quoted. I am satisfied with that resolution, and while I paid more than I would have at the dealership versus going to a tire shop, that is to be expected and the amount was not as unreasonable as my initial bill. However, I cannot recommend doing business with Sport Chevrolet. While my experience with Gibbs was good, his service department still engages in unethical business practices by recommending unnecessary services at a 3-400% markup compared to independent shops. Specifically, I was told I needed a brake fluid flush for $400, despite my vehicle's service manual specifying I would not need one for several more years, and local shops charging between $100 and $150 for a flush. As mentioned above, I was also charged twice as much (over $500) as I was quoted ($230) for a single new tire and alignment. Gibbs refunded the difference (again, thank you), but I should not have needed to write these reviews to correct that. *Original review below* Untrustworthy. Brought my car in for a flat tire and was recommended to get an unnecessary service that was not only not necessary based on the vehicle maintenance schedule, but was also 4x the price of going to an auto body shop. I only had my car towed here (my car doesn't carry a spare) because it was the closest dealership to my house and Chevy roadside assistance only pays for a tow to a dealership. Next time, I'll use AAA and go somewhere that doesn't have the most sketchy, clichéd business practices and a markup of 2-3 times what I'd have paid going literally anywhere else. More

His presentation was impressive that I brought my family back to try it out. I am the type of person that hates car buying. I dread going in. JR understood that as a working parent with a small child that my time could not be wasted. He was no pressure and approachable. After doing my research on the car a bit more, I went back and bought the Bolt EUV. If you're looking for an electric vehicle, I can't emphasize enough how important it is to work with a salesperson that knows electric vehicles and what you need. More
