Stopped into Spitzer Honda by recommendation from a friend who had purchased three cars with them. Sara Mauser came highly recommended and she did not disappoint during this visit. I was a little anxious when I found out that Sara had been promoted but that anxiety soon subsided when she introduced my son and I to James Harris. Sara remained very involved in our deal while allowing James space and most importantly time to make sure that we found the perfect vehicle for our family. James was patient as he explained each feature and it felt as if he genuinely cared about us, not just the sale. While waiting for finance, James gave us a tour of the dealership and introduced us to Mark Helmick, the service manager. Mark cracked a few jokes and really made me feel comfortable with the idea of sending my son in for service on his own. I will be referring Spitzer Honda to all of my family, friends and coworkers. Please avoid this dealership. We bought a Honda two weeks ago and we are originally from Dallas. The Honda CRV was okay and we did a test drive with no problems. However, on the same day we bought it, we noticed a strong cigarette smell. We called Matt, who said we bought it as is and they couldn't do anything about it. I told him we didn't smell it during the test drive, but he insisted we somehow missed it. He recommended we use ozone odors, but after negotiations, they offered to do a detailed cleaning with ozone, which unfortunately did not help. I spent $30k on this car for my son's graduation, who has asthma, and I don't know what to do now. More
I am surprised that there is no office agent for the service dept. I always have to leave a message and wait for a call back. I think the service is usually very good.
