Horrible problem with a great ending About a month ago, my '09 Malibu started having issues where I would just be driving along and then all of the sudden, the car would start jerking and About a month ago, my '09 Malibu started having issues where I would just be driving along and then all of the sudden, the car would start jerking and a SERVICE ESC and SERVICE TRACTION light would come on. Then the car would be fine for a while. Then it would happen again. A couple times the car actually stalled when taking off from a stoplight. I brought the car into the dealership. The hard part is that this was intermittent making it difficult to troubleshoot. But, this isn't one of those "I can live with it" problems - it needed to be fixed. I worked with Pat on it for a while and then eventually with Steve (the Service Manager). Steve really took the bull by the horns on this one. Long story short, it did take a a while to get this resolved (due to the nature of the issue), but I've been driving the car with no issue for a couple weeks now. Thanks, guys!! More
24 days without my car It has been 24 days since I contacted Spitzer of Northfield for service. I'm now stuck without a car to drive. The car was purchased through a Spitzer Dealership with an extended warranty. Steve S. the Service Manager from Spitzer of Northfield is unable to answer any of my questions to my satisfaction. The car has not been inspected for warranty work and all of the proper paperwork has been turned in to file my claim. Steve keeps passing the responsibility to the warranty company that only wrote the contract and they do not pay for the service. This is unacceptable. Why does it take multiple calls on my part to get things started 24 days after it should have been. The responsibility has been pushed off on to me to make all of the calls during my work day to try to handle this situation. I paid for the extended warranty to not have to deal with this. This is horrible service and I should not have paid for the full warranty if I have to do the work. It was appalling to hear Steve S. the service Manager make derogatory comments about a member of another dealership. This other dealership is trying to communicate with him to service the car. It was completely unprofessional and inappropriate. More
I came into this store on a hope and a prayer for a 2014 Chevy Impala. Both Sams were great in assisting. Michael Wiesner was great. I were able to walkout the store trading in my cadillac and getting in pa Chevy Impala. Both Sams were great in assisting. Michael Wiesner was great. I just purchased a 2011 Imperial Blue Chevrolet Malibu LS. Marty Verescak. sales consultant, was extremely helpful. The car was ready to go when I arrived at the dealership. Everyone was very pleasant. I walked over to the service department to see if what was over there. Everyone was professional and treated me with respect. After the papers were signed, Marty sat in the car with me and went over the OnStar features and answered other questions I asked. This is what car buying should be like. More

James did an excellent job helping us understand the features and benefits of the Traverse. The pricing of the vehicle was fair based on the research I'd done prior to making the buying decision. There were ample models in stock for us to evaluate and choose from. James was very friendly and made the entire experience comfortable and pleasant. This is the type of interaction I want out of a sales person. In five years or so when we are ready for another vehicle we'll be back. Hopefully James is still there but even if he is not, we'll return to the dealership. James represented Spitzer Chevrolet well and has earned a return visit from us. More
