I was lied to by Steve Donat I went in for a car wash on one of my other cares because I have purchased 4 cars from Spitzer Chevy in Amherst Oh. Decided to trade in my lease for I went in for a car wash on one of my other cares because I have purchased 4 cars from Spitzer Chevy in Amherst Oh. Decided to trade in my lease for a 2016 Impala, left dealership on a Friday night with an already agreed on deal, including trade in amount for my 2014 Cruz, I was in a huge hurry Saturday morning, still waited for 2.5 hrs for the service department to tell me what was wrong with one of my other cars, so I hurried in the finance office with Tom, I left drove the car to c bus for my grand child's b day, read them finance papers at 1am when I returned home, immediately sent my sales guy a text asking can I return the 2016 Impala and get my Cruz back, he said its above his pay grade and to talk with Steve Donat the GM, I sent Steve an email he never responded to me, so I kept texting my sales person, he said Ron stop this, this is above my pay grade, and he told Guy on me, so Guy said text me with all your concerns, so I reviewed my concerns with Guy and he became the middle man, I got tired Guy saying let me check with Steve, so I decided to e mail Allison Spitzer to let her know Steve Donat lied to me about what he was giving me for my trade, and would not discuss this with me. I ask Steve Donat to please give me my Cruze back and take the 2016 Impala back, he ignored my e-mail, after e mailing Allison 2 times Steve finally got back with me, I went in to discuss with Steve my desire to get my old car back, he and Tom were both present because Steve wanted a witness, they said Ron your not getting your car back. I even said hey Tom and Steve maybe I miss understood on the trade in. Steve said all they could do was wet sand my 2016 Impala to get the multiple scratches out of it, I decided to take him up on his offer, I decided to let Steve think for a while with hopes that he would do the right thing and fix his Lie, because I was told when I left Friday night that I would only pay 2100 in negative equity for my Cruz, but was tricked into paying 4100 in negative equity, he never called or texted me so I decided to reach out to him and ask him to refund me $1k, he said NO. So I have remained upset with Amherst Spitzer Chevy, took my 2016 Impala in to get it wet sanded they kept my car for 3 days, when I got it back little to no wet sanding had happened to my car, I told Steve they failed and that I still have not received my other set of keys, steve said he would get right back with me on my other set of keys, he never got back with me, so I ask him about them again the next day, he blamed his team, still did not mention that I was lied to again on the wet sand and that it was not completed. So I ask him why he did not get back with me and not getting back with customers is a bad message to send customers who have bought 4 cars from you. This seem to bother Steve so he said this - I do challenge you Ron how you handle a customer tells your superior that you lied to them when you did not lie to them, and I said I bend over backwards to address their every need Steve. (Even if it bruises my Ego) These are customers that have bought my product for centuries, some $100 dollar purchases, and some $4mm to $10mm customers, they are all treated the same, and I don't lie to them and tell them I responded to an e mail, when I didn't really respond to it. And when they get the product I personably followup to insure that they are happy... But if they send me an e mail and say we still failed, I call them to see what I can do to help. I told you I got the car back the other day and the wet sand was not complete... And I still did not get the set of keys, you responded to the keys, but no attempt what so ever about the lack of a wet sand. Steve you are not customer focused, it is very clear to me all you really care about is the money side of the business, customers do not matter to you... I told Steve I would like to help him and he replied not a chance, and said he is done with this discussion, i fear now that Spitzer is retaliating against me because I called them out for taking advantage of me because I was in a hurry, and the knew it. They also told me I have to pay gap insure because the negative equity in the loan drove me negative on the Impala loan. Steve also lied to me about responding to an e mal and I even ask him to resend his response out of his sent mail, he never did.... 4 cars from this dealer in 2.5 years and they don't want to do anything to fix their error... This makes me wonder how many other customers are getting screwed by this dealer????? More
INCOMPETENT SALES / SERVICE DEP. My Certified truck did not get recognized by Chevy until Feb. 2016 even though it was purchased in the summer of 2015.This was do to the INCOMPETENCE My Certified truck did not get recognized by Chevy until Feb. 2016 even though it was purchased in the summer of 2015.This was do to the INCOMPETENCE OF THE SALES / SERVICE DEP. Spritzer offered me THERE WARRANTY NOT THE GMEPP WARRANTY, which is a HUGE DIFFERENCE !!!!!!! More

Upon speaking with a few dealers I made an appointment with Spitzer Amherst. Upon walking through the door I knew I had made the right choice. Gayle Goodwin was AWESOME! She was very patient, extremely knowledgeable and was able to find me the exact car to meet my needs. The purchase along with the financing was totally stress free. The VALUE PRICING on the vehicles was extremely fair. I would highly recommend Spitzer Amherst to anyone looking for a GREAT new or used car. They brought the car to the Amherst location for me to inspect which made it much more convenient for me. The pricing on the car was about 1500 dollars cheaper than any like vehicle I could find anywhere else!! Vehicle was clean and had been thoroughly serviced . I recommend Spitzer Chevrolet Amherst to anyone looking for a quality automobile at a fair price!! More

would not recommend spitzer Amherst I went to purchase a used car for my step daughter. From entering the dealership it was a uncomfortable/borderline rude sales staff. The only reason we purchase a car there was for their inventory. After the unfavorable experience and purchase of a used car the salesman did not even shake my hand? Just turned around and walked away. Hate to use names but in this case as a warning the salesmans name was Guy. Please avoid him and his bad mannered personality. More

Very good Sales Consultant! Our Sale Consultant Anthony Porter made every effort to handle our new truck purchase in a professional and efficient manner. I think probably without much support from the organization. We did have a nice experience with the Service Writer, he was very pleasant and professional. We had what in my experience is a typical negative dealership parts counter interaction. I do perceive though, that in general, these type of fellows resent having to deal with customers instead of mechanics or other employees. My bottom line is, that I absolutely would not have made a new truck purchase at Spitzer had it not been for Anthony. More
I have to completely change my last review on Spitzer.... I made a second trip and this time got what was promised and them some.
