Highly recommend NOT purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership. We purchased a 2015 GMC Sierra back in Sept 2023. We live about 3 hours away and took a chance on a small town dealership standing by the dealership. We purchased a 2015 GMC Sierra back in Sept 2023. We live about 3 hours away and took a chance on a small town dealership standing by their word. The salesman gave us one interesting story that an “old man previously owned it and took very good care of it” etc. Sure don’t believe that was the case. Minutes after we drove it a few miles off the lot, the tire pressure light came on. Also realized the AC wasn’t working. (It was cold so we didn’t think to check at first) Driving a few days later, brakes locked up on us and almost slid into oncoming traffic. Called a local garage at this point. Find out the compressor was shot for the AC and one of the recalls weren’t done on the braking assist system. *Dealership said all recalls were completed before purchase. Have a signed document on this. Ended up in the shop for over a week. Called the dealership, wanted us to go through the warranty company. Denied; since it was a fresh purchase. *Dealership did end up covering fees per warranty company request. Little less than a month later, transmission goes. Took it to Turner GMC; diagnosed that it needed a new trans, lifters and manifold. Garage also states that this was a long term problem that we wouldn’t have created in the few hundred miles on the truck. If the dealership indeed did DO an inspection, this would’ve been caught. Warranty company willing to cover rebuilt trans. Contacted dealership to cover what warranty company wouldn’t; manifold & lifters. ($426.91) Pocket change for a dealership. Spoke with Bill in service, said he spoke with sales and they wouldn’t cover it. He was going to talk to the GM and I’ve been sent to voicemail ever since trying to get an answer. Also want to add first rebuilt trans sent from warranty company was faulty and had to reorder a whole other transmission resulting in the truck being in the shop for 2 months. Dealership nor garage could provide a loaner car at the time. Warranty company would only cover fees for rental car during hours worked on vehicle which wouldn’t have covered much since it was mostly waiting on parts to come in. Caused a bunch of inconvenience for us! The dealership really dropped the ball on taking care of their customers and holding true to their inspection process which states clearly on their paperwork that we signed and on their website “Every Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Fiat and Ram CPOV can be counted on to go the distance. Our CPO vehicles must pass a stringent certification process that guarantees only the finest late model vehicles get certified. Every vehicle that passes is then subjected to a comprehensive 125-point inspection and a thorough reconditioning process using Authentic Mopar® Parts.” ~ Definitely not the case. Take your hard earned money somewhere else unless you want to make double car payments for the first few months trying to keep your vehicle on the road! 💰🔥 More
