Spirit Chrysler Sweedesboro New Car and Service review I actually went to Spirit Crysler on Saturday 4/5 to have an oil change done on my 2007 Chrysler Seabring. While there I went out to the lot to see w I actually went to Spirit Crysler on Saturday 4/5 to have an oil change done on my 2007 Chrysler Seabring. While there I went out to the lot to see what cars were there. I had 135,100 miles on the car and was thinking of purchasing a car, not sure whether pre-owned or new, before the end of the summer. I met Bob Dybus out on the lot and we spoke about pricing a new car. He was great, very courteous and accomidating. He worked with me and the finance people to get the best rate for financing and price for my vehicle.. I have been using Spirit for years for service. I was only living in NJ shortly when I bought my vehicle and did not know of Spirit at the time. I had been taking my vehicle at a different dealership when I first bought the Seabring but was not happy with the service or people there. I am very happy with the way I am treated by everyone at Spirit and their service is great. I recommend this dealership to anyone looking for great service or to buy an vehicle. More
Wonderful Experience Note: My first car purchase and I absolutely recommend this dealer. Pre Purchase: I used AutoTrader.com looking for a used Chevy Impala and came Note: My first car purchase and I absolutely recommend this dealer. Pre Purchase: I used AutoTrader.com looking for a used Chevy Impala and came accross Spirit Chrysler Jeep Dodge. They had exactly what I was looking for. I contacted the Internet Sales department using the number provided on the AutoTrader website. I spoke with someone immediately, no machines and no put on hold. I was forwarded to a man named Sean W. He took down all my information and was very kind. He asked what I was looking for and scheduled an appointment. He also told me that buying a car through the internet sales department has extra benefits. Scheduled Appointment: I arrived on Saturday April 12 for my scheduled appointment. When I arrived I learned that Sean W. was not available and instead met with Dan Stephens. Dan was awesome! Dan was very friendly and easy to work with. I arrived and told him about the car I was interested in. He had a full set of notes from my conversation with Sean W. Every detail we talked about on the phone was present. We rehashed some details and then Dan pulled the car around the the front and we took a quick ride. Dan and I had some conversation about what I was looking for and the specs of the car that I was driving while driving. The car ride was smooth. Upon returning to the dealership Dan let me inspect the car fully by walking around it and popping the hood. While Dan was present and over watching me inspect the car he wasn't pushy and let me take my time. This is an excellent quality to have. We went inside that talked about the current price and how I would pay. I also brought up that Sean W. mentioned special online sales deals for people who go through the internet sales department. Dan did not have that information present and promised to get back to me with the details. I purchased the car. From this point on things were really straight forward. We followed proper procedure scanning ID's calling insurance and signing papers. The finalization process took about an hour to an hour and a half. Dan provided me with some cash to fuel up, due to the fact the dealership gas pump was closed, and then I drove the car home without any issues. Post purchase: Come Monday morning, being new to the car buying experience, I attempted to take my car to get inspected with the temp registration in PA. This is not allowed, you buy the car get the real tags and real registration and then have 10 days to get the car inspected. I was not aware of this and being confused I contacted Dan and asked because I thought you needed the car inspected before they issued the tags and registration. Dan was quick to respond and provided me with the number for the tag and title manager who i contacted the following morning and everything was cleared up. Tag and Registration Pickup: I was contacted about a week after purchasing the car that my tag and registration were ready. I contacted Dan to see if he was available when I pick up the tags. Dan was quick to respond and told me he would be. I arrived and Dan was available, he directed me to tag pickup and I signed for my registration and tag. The dealer provides installing your tags for you if needed. Dan sent me an email containing the details of the online sales benefits. We shook hands and I was on my way. Car cost: I purchased the 3.9L V6 Chevy Impala LT for about $12K after tags / title etc. The car by itself cost around $10,990 the carfax was clean and I was very happy with the interior and engine of the car. The outside of the car has some minor scratches and some dents. The hood of the car had a dent that was about the size of a thumb pressed in. Kelly Blue Book recommends the car about about $10,449. Like I said other than the minor dents on the outside the interior was perfect. It even had the brushed aluminum instead of the wood grain. The car was kept up really nice. No driving issues at all. The glove box had the original window sticker with all the original books for the car, xm radio, and onStar. I feel the price was great. I paid for the car with a personal check. The one star deduction is due to the fact that if I choose to fix the dents it will probably cost me about $500 - $600. Since KBB stated the car should be $10,499 in excellent condition and this car was very close but not quite 'excellent'. Note* I didnt argue the price or even try to negotiate a different price. And First Time Buyer 10% of all parts and labor in our service department on Fridays. Dan Stephens: Dan is a great guy. He knew all the people to get in touch with to get the right answers. He wasn't a pushy salesman, which I was expecting, and it made buying the car that much nicer. I want to take my time and buy on my terms and be satisfied with what I bought. It's hard to accomplish that if someone is constantly pushing to to come in and sign. Plus Dan was a big help and guiding me through my first car purchase, he put up with my worries and questions and answered everything. I personally hate nagging people and I hate being the guy with all the questions that I probably should know the answers to, but Dan stuck with it even after all the paperwork was signed and done. A really good guy. Dealership Overall: They have a lot of cars. The dealership is a pretty small building with several huge lots and a service center. Also note you gps is going to lie to you. Seems county renumber the streets and put a circle in and it throws off the gps. Don't worry you can't miss it. Look for the American painted windows. Everyone is friendly at the place. As soon as I walked in someone wanted to talk with me. The whole staff was nice to meet. The neighborhood is also clean and kind of farmy feeling. Lots of open space. It was a nice drive over from the city of Philadelphia. The biggest thing that stood out to me was that the dealership was busy. People were looking at cars other than me. On both trips over the place was busy. Post purchase: I took the car to Pep Boys to have it state inspected and get a general overview of its status, All fluid levels were properly filled and the car passed inspection with flying colors. The tires had about half their life remaining. No problems found. Quick Breakdown: Pros: -Friendly staff -Small mom & pop style business -Nice ride over -They have the process down -Not pushy when selling cars -Hopefully in about 8 months i can have all the existing dents removed using the benefits Cons: -Car warranty provided isn't all that great -Building was a little warm More

The BEST deals and the BEST service!!! Spirit dodge was the first place I went to when I knew I wanted a dodge Challenger. When I showed up I was immediately greeted by Mike Connelly. Mike was extremely helpful with finding me the car that was my perfect fit. I had a thousand questions about the car and Mike answered them all with great description and even sat in the car and gave me a tutorial on how to operate everything. Looking at new cars can be overwhelming but Mike really made me feel comfortable and right at home! Aside from his incredible knowledge about the car and its features, Mike was very willing to work with me in regards to the price. I had a clear idea of what I would have liked my payment to be and Mike made it fit my budget perfectly. The owner (Also named Mike) was also very friendly and helpful when I talked to him. Overall my experience at Spirit Dodge was an incredibly smooth and stress free time, which is crazy to imagine because usually buying cars takes hours and is lower on my list of things to do than getting a tooth pulled. I will definitely return to spirit dodge in the future when I am ready to move on to another car and I will certainly recommend them to friends who are looking to buy a car.
