I called in today to attempt to take your advice. Asked to speak with Dan Qualls. Was transferred to a phone. It rang and rang and rang then abruptly hung up. I have no idea where I was transferred as there was no opportunity to hear a message and leave my contact info. Who in the 21st century doesn't have voicemail? So...I have reached out repeatedly. When will Spirit take any effort to reach out to me in kind? Anyone there? Anyone who can transfer me to the "I give a xxxx Department"?

Follow up: Finance Manger reached out to me. A detailed review of the deal ensued. Although there will be no financial remedy for me, I now know EXACTLY why. He worked with me until he made sure I had a full understanding of the result of the call. It was all I asked. My last feedback about this experience is that they should take a look at their process for addressing customer concerns. This was way too much effort to simply be heard and respected.
