I am a senior citizen and I was concerned about trying to purchase a used car. I was told to visit Speedway Ford. They made me feel at ease immediately. I am very disappointed by my dealings with this dealership. I was told that if I came in the salesman would give me a estimate on my truck, and give a quote on a deal on a new truck, he said it wou dealership. I was told that if I came in the salesman would give me a estimate on my truck, and give a quote on a deal on a new truck, he said it would only take 30 min. I came back and after 45 min, and have to ask for water, I was given a line about buying right then and never a estimate on my truck. I was treated like if I didn't buy then they couldn't help me. I was very insulted and will never go back. More
I am giving this rating because of horrible customer service in dealing with the salesman and manager that we dealt with. My wife had negotiated a price over the phone and we were told that the salesma service in dealing with the salesman and manager that we dealt with. My wife had negotiated a price over the phone and we were told that the salesman spoke to his manager and they were in the same range as we were. When we arrive we drove the vehicle and when we started to "work numbers" they said the best they could do was 1100 to 1600 dollars higher than what had been negotiated, and they would not come down to the price discussed and agreed to over the phone. We said that we were not interested at the "best" price they could do and we went to get in our car and leave. As we were getting our kids in the car the "salesman" comes out and starts to argue with my wife and raise his voice to her. After my wife and brother, who went with her to calm her down as I stayed with the kid, went in to speak with the manager we left. She had asked to have the owners name and was, as we later found out, lied to and given the used car manager's name. We should have known then that the dealer was not worh our time, but the day after they posted an updated ad with a price less than what we were willing to pay. We decided to give them another try and again negotiated the price, but this time they gave us a buyers order and agreed to pay the amount we wanted to get for our trade. Just as we were to finalize the financing paperwork they called and said that they would not be able to give us the same amount for our trade as they had previously agreed to, and put on the buyers order. The lesser amount that they wanted to give us for our trade was almost exactly the difference between what we originally wanted to pay and what they were willing to accept. If you are looking for a car I would not buy from this dealership as they do not honor the prices they state over the phone, they lie to you, and will argue with and yell at you if you do not want to pay the price they want. More
