I drove nearly 7 hours from Northern Virginia just because they had the truck that I wanted. David Cash was wonderful and did everything he could to make the experience a good one. But after that, I found nothing but people that fail to keep their word. Jake Thomas falsely represented the extended warranty. Once I found out, I requested immediate cancellation. He stated that it would be handled in a timely manner. Well here we are..., 9 weeks after the purchase date and nothing but apologies and false statements. Still no refund. Still no account credit. Not to mention that registration process that took my interaction with DMV to complete because they filled out the paperwork incorrectly and didn't send enough money to cover the registration. This purchase from Spartanburg CDJR has been the worst new car experience ever. More

I called the dealership trying to get an appointment with the service department. The phone rang and rang and rang. Finally, an operator came back and asked how she could help me. I told her I wanted the service department. She transferred again and the phone rang until a recording came on and said, " this is the service department receptionist, please leave your name and number and someone will return your call". Well, after two days, no one called me. I called the dealership back and again, the phone for service rang and rang and rang. I eventually called and talked to my sales person, Amanda. She said she would take care of it and within 10 minutes, the service department called and I was able to make an appointment. I took the truck in and waited for the mechanic to do an alignment. He said every thing is good now and I left. The next day, it started pulling again. So, I called the service department AGAIN and the phone rang and rang and rang. Finally was able to leave a message, but no one called me back. I did get in touch with a service rep and he explained he was by himself. I made an appointment, however, on the day of my appointment, I called to ask if I could come in earlier since I was in the area. She put me on hold and then came back and said their alignment machine was not working. WHY didn't they call me and tell me????? I then called another Dodge dealership 15 miles from my home. They are both what I like to call “solution advocates". They listen and then go to work finding a vehicle that meets those needs. They do this without making you feel pressured and while staying within the budget you set. I normally dread dealing with car salespersons but these two men and this dealership really changed my opinion because they are not that typical “cocky you are going to buy my car” kind of dealership. They make you feel welcome from beginning all the way through the financing process. Everyone seems to be loving their job and passing on their positive vibes in all they do. If you are looking for a new or used car at a fair price, drop in and see these gentlemen. A Little More History. One would think that when they are looking at spending a large amount of money on a new vehicle one would get lots of positive feedback and assistance. Before I found Spartanburg CDJ I had messaged with 11 other dealers across the Southeast. Several chose to ignore me all together, while others were very curt and rude in their responses. My father had a list of "specific must haves" a vehicle should have for him to purchase. It had become frustrating and I was ready to give up because I was told over and over again "that option is no longer available" "RHD is not a possibility" or ”maybe next year RHD willie offered again.” Then I was blessed to find Jonathan England. He told me, as others before him, that right hand drive vehicles weren't available in his current inventory, but that a kit was available to convert a vehicle to RHD and that he had a contact that could take care of this for us. We made the 2 hour drive to visit with him and was introduced to the salesperson, Jamie England. He contacted the conversion expert to determine what vehicle in their inventory would be best to meet our needs. We drove home in a new vehicle and they even included to conversion in the deal. We left feeling we were given a fair deal and the vehicle we purchased will meet all our expectations for a new vehicle. I would definitely buy from this dealer and salespersons again and will start my search with them in the future. More
