Don't trust this dealeship. On you own once you leave. Dealership was ok to work with to buy vehicle at what seemed like good deal up front. After getting vehicle home (over 2 hour drive), found items wrong and they wanted me to come back to them to get any service work done instead of getting it done locally and them reimbursing me. Eventually something major went wrong that they should have found, to the tune of over 900 dollars, and they basically said too bad, too much time has gone by and that is an unpredictable part. (what part isn't??) Told them I got problem fixed and problem occurred over a period of about 1 year prior according to service location I had work done and they wouldn't listen. Tried more E-mail contact and they just stopped responding. Conciliation court is looking good. DON'T TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP. I have seen other reviews from people that had service done. These people didn't get hosed because they have to drive hours to dealership; they all live in neighboring areas. . Don't buy if you're not a local who can hold them accountable. More
Misrepresentation I purchases a used 2012 Chevy Avalanche from Southworth Chevorlet on line. I was told the vehicle had 61,940 miles on it. The purchase order and the t I purchases a used 2012 Chevy Avalanche from Southworth Chevorlet on line. I was told the vehicle had 61,940 miles on it. The purchase order and the title said the vehicle had 61,940 miles on the vehicle. I had the vehicle shipped on a common carrier to California. When I received the vehicle, the vehicle actually had over 64,000 miles on it and the right rear tire was flat due to a nail being in it and the front bumper was damaged. When I took the vehicle to have the rear tire repaired at a Big O Tires shop, I was informed the tire was not repairable because of the tread was so low. In addition I was informed all the tires needed to be replaced along with the brakes at a cost of $1,800.00. When I called the dealer to inform them of the misrepresentation of the mileage and the cost I incurred to replace all the tires and brakes, they said they safety checked before they sold it to me and their response was how did they know the Big O store I took it to was legitimate. As far as the misrepresentation of the mileage, I never got a straight answer other than their a small reputable family owned dealership. With all that said, I would stay clear of this so called small reputable family owned dealership. More
