SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY Last time I was at the dealer they tried to sell me a cabin air filter. the original charge was going to be $800. but we're going to give me a deal ba Last time I was at the dealer they tried to sell me a cabin air filter. the original charge was going to be $800. but we're going to give me a deal based on reducing the time to under 4 hours to clean the area. I then was directed to the mechanic and he proceeded to tell me that his father almost died because he was diseased by the lack of cleaning his vehicle. I left the dealership had my son get a cabin air filter and he did the complete job and cleaned out the entire area with a vacuum cleaner and new filter in less than 15 minutes. Talk about a terrible experience. OMG! this last time I thought I would give them another chance. This time my wife was having occasional issues with her A/C not getting cold enough. When the dealer was finally contacted 3x, I was told that the low-pressure hose needed to be replaced AND THAT IT WOULD COST $800. Does that seem to be a magical number??? I have purchased 5 vehicles through Southtowne previously and will never do that again! More

Very professional and organized during a national crisis Paul Hardegree was my service advisor. I took my GMC canyon in to have a service and a recall completed. Although I was late by one hour getting to the dealership, I was immediately serviced in and out in 45 minutes. The overall attitude of Paul was nothing but serious and professional. Precautions were taken with the COVD-19 epidemic as with all service department employees and their positive attitude was just great. Service on rear passenger door - door lock actuator replaced It took 2 visits as the part on hand at first visit was the wrong part - took 3 hours to determine part was wrong. Door was disassembled and then had It took 2 visits as the part on hand at first visit was the wrong part - took 3 hours to determine part was wrong. Door was disassembled and then had to be reassembled. correct part was ordered and service rescheduled. Second visit went smooth and quick. After repair the car was washed and cleaned. More
