NEVER recommend for sales or service NOT recommended, ever. I've rarely, if ever, seen a company so NOT concerned about customer service, including properly diagnosing a vehicle's issues NOT recommended, ever. I've rarely, if ever, seen a company so NOT concerned about customer service, including properly diagnosing a vehicle's issues and resolving them. I can't get anyone from Southside Kia to return multiple calls over an incomplete service which is affecting a 2,500 mile road trip. Either the service department is so grossly negligent that they did not catch the cruise control not working properly when they allegedly did a thorough analysis of the steering wheel assembly, or they didn't bother to tell me, knowing I was leaving. They did, however, tell me my radio was not working, when it was. EXCEPT I was told a "Master Reset" was done which fixed the radio currently not having issues and now the AUX function isn't working on my 2,500 road trip. Gee, thanks. When I discovered the cruise control issue, the Assistant Service Manager refused to answer multiple phone calls (while I held for 3 HOURS), nor return messages left, nor respond to a return text originally FROM Southside Kia asking how their service was. Kia corporate is useless, as their escalation specialist has not a clue how to speak to customers who are frustrated and upset. Dealing with smug "service techs" such as Anthony is annoying. I could go on and on such as how the Assistant Service Manager (who I used to respect) failed to remember I have the Kia-administered service warranty and attempted to charge me for something covered under the warranty I purchased. Was he going to try to double-dip and collect money from the warranty as well? Needless to say, I will likely NEVER purchase a Kia again due to the poor service, at all levels of the dealership and corporation. Please REFUND my $50 deductible paid IN ADVANCE of the job being completed when I return. I'll be bringing my $3,000 repair somewhere else. If anyone at Kia is remotely interested in resolving this issue, I'd suggest a pacifying public comment here is not effective. CALLING would be. ~ Laurel Ley (Wright) More
