I specifically asked if this was for a soft or hard inquiry on my credit and Christopher Pinard lied through his teeth and told me it was a soft inquiry. I ended up not buying a car and about 20 minutes later got an email from Credit Karma telling me that there has been a change to my credit score because he did a HARD INQUIRY. Now my score dropped 6 points because of him. I am very disappointed in this dealership and will definitely never buy from it or recommend it to anyone. Don't go here. I've been to other dealerships who were a lot more honest and didn't screw with my credit without my permission. More
Genuine Experience! Raymond greeted us. We came by to drive a Soul. Within 10 minutes we were in the car and driving. Love this crossover! Rides beautifully, hugs the Raymond greeted us. Pleasantly surprised, given that the price is in my mind reasonable for a vehicle! Read the ratings for Kia, amazing really and it does not get the credit it deserves! We then talked with Chris. Very nice conversation, like talking to a friend, straightforward, no nonsense. We all came to the same conclusion very quickly, and I learned a lot! I have never had such a great experience at a car dealership ever! I would come back to Southside Kia and I would refer friends! Thank you Raymond and Chris! More
Worst Costumer Service Ever! First I called after 3 hours and I was told my car was done. Then I waited for it to be finished for an hour after that. My car then sat in the finish lane for 45 minutes before they checked me out. Paul my service rep was extremely rude not only to me but to a customer he was talking to on the phone. I will not be back to this dealership and service department again. They need to go to customer service training classes. Unacceptable. More

A/C Problems.....No Problem We do not live in Jacksonville but my wife is being treated for a rare Cancer at Mayo Clinic and when we got in her company car (Optima) and the A/C w We do not live in Jacksonville but my wife is being treated for a rare Cancer at Mayo Clinic and when we got in her company car (Optima) and the A/C would not work we went to the hotel to find a dealer. I Googled KIA to find Southside was right down the road and had excellent ratings.I got an appointment in an hour which would just be unheard of back in our hometown. On the way to the dealer the A/C just started to work. When we arrived and told Dan White our story he did everything to help us get checked out and even spent the time to make sure we understood how to use the A/C properly. He went above normal customer service for a couple of out of towners. I got a feeling our next new personal car will be a KIA from a dealer with excellent customer service. The drive is worth it! Thanks again Dan White. You made a difficult trip better and brought a smile to a cancer patience's face. More
Untrustworthy I was contacted by KIA about a new vehicle. I was then told to fill out a online credit application and they would contact me soon. I was then contacted and told I was pre-approved for a new KIA with 0 down and I can come in anytime to test drive the vehicle. When I arrived they changed the deal and the car was no longer new it was used. They said the vehicle was in great shape, I asked for a CarFax. Once I checked the CarFax it had been in an accident and they wanted over 3000 for the value of the car at perfect condition, it was not. They then tried to persuade me to accept the deal and told me how great the car was and the deal I was supposedly getting from the bank. I was not a fool, I let them know this and that was when they changed their attitudes, They became rude. As I was leaving the car dealership I was approached by the finance clerk and was told how good the deal was. I said no thank you and that was when the truth came out. It was his car, his own personal vehicle they where trying to scam me into. They knew it was worth less than it was being sold for and it was a current employees car. I am still amazed at the lengths they will go to lie to you, only to find out they are crooked and could not be trusted. I would never recommend them and to add a positive note, I went down the road and Ford sold me a new 2015 with 0 down. More

So that in itself speaks volumes for the my sales person, Chris Pinnard and Sales Manager, Rick Oster! They made my experience very pleasant and quick! They are awesome and greatly appreciated! My issues had nothing to do with the my sales team; however, my BIG DISAPPOINTMENT was realizing when I got home I left a chair and library book in the trunk of the vehicle I traded and when I called back I was told it wasn't there! Well I know it was there because I used it just hours before trading my car. I know a chair isn't all that valuable, but this chair had value and wasn't cheap and the library book well, let's just say I don't like having to pay for a book I can't keep! My second issue was with Nina, the person who handle the tags. Just out right RUDE. I called weekly to see when my sticker was due to arrive. I called several times but I only had two days left on my paper tag so I called and she told me it hadn't arrived and I accepted that (this was Monday, Aug 11th) BUT on the day of expiration of the paper tag, I called spoke with her she says, yes it was here in Friday and it was out in the mail today (13th again the day my paper tag expired). I told her that I called you on Monday and told you if it arrived I can stop and pick it up, her response was "I got you confused with another person". My initial thought was "so you didn't look me up when I called several times prior to this", I didn't react, I just contacted Rick Oster, and to the rescue he came and emailed me my registration and advised to put my tag on car and I will have proof that my vehicle tag is valid! The point I'm putting out here is, this person was rude and non apologetic and it is unacceptable. I didn't like it nor do I appreciate the way she handled it; however, a simple apology would have made me feel better about the matter. I'm not bashing this dealership because obviously I'm a repeat customer for two reasons: Chris Pinnard & Rick Oster! Thanks, Mrs. Harris More
