Southland Dodge was opened in July 1968 by Joe Teuton Jr., Jeff Teuton, and Dennis Oncale. Joe and Dennis were experienced auto technicians at Downtown Auto Service on Lafayette St, and Jeff was a college graduate in Business Administration from Southeastern Louisiana University. They were also avid drag racers, and they were all under 30 years of age. The first location at 505 Sunset Ave featured a one-car showroom and a 10 car parking lot. Their racing background helped them to sell lots of Dodge Superbees, Chargers, and Challengers in the early years.

I drive a handicap accessible van. Chrysler Pacifica 2019. A/C issues. Told my husband to remove the ramp to have A/c fixed. Then realized that they had to order the part. Of course pa Chrysler Pacifica 2019. A/C issues. Told my husband to remove the ramp to have A/c fixed. Then realized that they had to order the part. Of course part was on back order. 3 weeks later (remember I can’t use my van during this time) they install the part. Two days later it’s not working AGAIN!!! Ramp was already put back in van. I am so angry and frustrated!!! I will call first thing Monday morning!! More
