Bad experience with Michael Arizmendi’s statements and the dealership trying to sell a used car with a wheel bearings problem. When we tested out a car, its driving was off, and we swung by our mechan the dealership trying to sell a used car with a wheel bearings problem. When we tested out a car, its driving was off, and we swung by our mechanic who identified a safety issue on the rear bearings needing to be fixed in addition to old rotors with new brake pads. We showed the work to Michael, and point blank he said the Southlake Kia mechanics already looked at the car and there were no issues. Weird claims and deceptive practices evidently used to negotiate price and push financing even though we had financing set up with our bank: 1.) Claimed their mechanics did a thorough review of the vehicle and there was no problems. Even in the face of a second opinion. 2.)He said the car was being kept for his cousin, but he could consider selling to us. 3.) Claimed the online price that we screenshotted from last week was never the price 4.) After we left, he called back and offered to fix the car problems BUT only if we bought it today. He said he wasn’t working the next day. (When I went back the next day, he was indeed working there.) 5.) He said that even though we would pay with an overnight check from our bank, he would have to do a hard pull of our credit for OFAC. I googled and websites like Experian and Edmund’s warn that this is a common lie and common tactic salesman claim to be able to offer financing or consider income in price negotiations - at the expense of our credit score. 6.) He also said he wouldn’t take a wire and suggested our bank it isn’t as credible as the companies they work with and could take up to a month for the check to show up. When we elevated these concerns to a manager, the manager offered to do the deal but not fix the wheel bearings. That is a big safety deal and $1k-$3k repair needed right away, so we walked away. I worry that the next customer takes home an undisclosed wheel bearing problem. More

This manager spoke to us like we were stupid! Due to him being VERY rude and telling my famliy to do simple math, one of his employees lost a sale today!!
