Frustrated!!!! I brought my 2017 Ford Escape in 1 month and 3 weeks ago today for noise and unstable driving issues. They still have it today! And no one has called I brought my 2017 Ford Escape in 1 month and 3 weeks ago today for noise and unstable driving issues. They still have it today! And no one has called me since last Fri Sept 8th...keep in mind this a new vehicle purchased in Jan 2017.....They have replaced struts, stabilzer bar, ty rod, chassis!!! Yes chassis! and several other parts!!! I've spoken with service manager Joan and Bob , who said he will be calling me for now on, but has not called me since last fri....no one can tell me whats going on and they can't seem to figure out what the problem is...in the meantime im still paying for a NEW vehicle i can't drive and they're adding miles on while they have to keep test driving...and it seems at this point it will be a new car once they finish replacing all new parts on an already new vehicle!!! I'm frustrated beyond belief and i've been more than patient and understanding. All i want are some answers, compensation and frequent follow up calls without me having to call...This is not good customer service!!! So frustrated!!! Can anyone help me? More
Ford Escape I bought my 2006 Ford 500 from Southgate Ford in 2005 and came back to Southgate Ford when I needed a new car in 2015. I was very concerned about get I bought my 2006 Ford 500 from Southgate Ford in 2005 and came back to Southgate Ford when I needed a new car in 2015. I was very concerned about getting a new vehicle since at the time I was not prepared to buy a new car but since my 500 was already 10 years old and was causing me problems I had to have one. I was in shock when I saw the price of the cars so in order for me to have a new car I needed to lease. I have always been apposed to leasing because for almost 50 years we have always bought our cars. Dave helped me get over the fear of leasing and made it possible for me to lease a new Escape. My lease will be up in August and am looking to lease another vehicle for close to what my payments are now. I have had a good experience not only when purchasing a new vehicle at Southgate Ford but also with the maintenance of my Escape. I have gotten two oil changes and have had very good service. I recommended Dave and Southgate Ford to all my friends and family. More
Worst experience ever Took my car in Wednesday for a oil change and had bad car parts on my lease. I have bumper to bumper warranty. I had to call fri to see what the xxxx is going on because my wife needed the car the nxt day. Long story short i had to drive up there for them to pik up my car and they told me they will get back with me. Thinking i would get a call mon? NOPE, I HAD TO CALL THURSDAY and all they said was it wasnt covered on warranty. Worst communication, thinking customers would just let it go, cant give me a call and say that rather then wait almost a week for ur customers to call. WORST PLACE EVER FOR SERVICE!!! More

The only reason I bring my vehicle here is this is where I bought it from. Service department personal uncaring. And I had to walk to where the car was towed to to get my stuff out of the vehicle. Requested a ride home and was told to just get my stuff and sit in the customer waiting area. Got tired of waiting and just woke up my daughter to get me home More

The reason we keep coming back is because the sales and service help we receive is outstanding. Last year after my mother was seriously injured in an automobile accident and her car was totaled, a salesman got involved, he patiently helped my Mom through the process of buying a new car and even had someone drive her new car to her in St. Clair Shores where he met her at her condominium and helped her with signing the documents right at her kitchen table. He patiently took the time to help her learn everything she needed to know about her new car as well. He is a kind and gentle soul and my family appreciates him very much! One of the folks in service is so incredibly helpful; I stored her name and number in the contacts of my mobile phone so I’d be able to communicate with her right away. I chose her as my point of contact for service because I discovered early on that she possesses the ability to help people quickly, she is thorough; she pays attention to detail, follows up on promises, and is an absolute pleasure to work with. I have little doubt I need not tell you her name. Thank you for having her available for us! More
Terrible Service Terrible service. These past couple weeks have been nothing but a headache because of Southgate Ford. I bought my car from them in 2013. No problems a Terrible service. These past couple weeks have been nothing but a headache because of Southgate Ford. I bought my car from them in 2013. No problems at that point. I was rear-ended a couple weeks ago and sent my car back to them to be repaired. First strike was not granting me a free loaner car (which most other dealerships will do as a courtesy of giving them business). Second strike was when I called them 10 days after it arrived to them to get a status update on repairs. They hadn't even started the repairs "because Geico hasn't been out here yet," which I know was a lie because my adjuster called me while he was in their lot leaving the estimate. Besides that, if a car is sitting in your lot for 10 DAYS, wouldn't you think to call the owner or the adjuster to see what's going on? Third strike happened when my adjuster told them they need to submit their estimates to the Geico website in order to get things going. They told him that they do not have Internet capabilities, so that's not possible and we're now at a standstill (not to mention they were so backed up that they wouldn't have even been able to begin work anyway - they couldn't even give an estimated start date. I refuse to believe that a Ford Dealership doesn't have Internet capabilities. Ridiculous! In short, I urge you to never do business with this dealership. They will not help you when you need it the most. More

It is now August 5 2015 and my car has yet to be even looked at I just called service and they told that my car would be the second or the third car looked at maybe today. More
Horrible. Bought a new 2011 f150 and has been in the shop 3 times...2 undoc. just for test drives.they kept saying it was normal, the problems that we ocurred. Contacted a lawyer and took it in at another dealership. Took it to Ford taylor and they ended up having to change the driveshaft on it. Now it is fixed. I would never recommed this dealer. Will be contacting BBB More
