Currently dealing with a situation with this dealership where my warranty claim was never submitted. 3 weeks and no return phone calls later I finally reach the service department to find no manager at wor where my warranty claim was never submitted. 3 weeks and no return phone calls later I finally reach the service department to find no manager at work to submit it and a General Manager, Scott Downer, who is “too busy” to take a call. Still no resolution in site. More
2013 JEEP WRANGLER VERY VERY UNSAFE! I bought my 2013 Jeep Wrangler with 17,000 miles 2 years ago and since then the ABS sensor on the tires have locked up twice without any warning. I ha I bought my 2013 Jeep Wrangler with 17,000 miles 2 years ago and since then the ABS sensor on the tires have locked up twice without any warning. I had one of the sensors replaced Sept 2014 and now exactly 1 years later I was driving on I-75 outside of Atlanta on Friday afternoon when my brakes completely locked up without any warning. Thank goodness it did not cause an accident, but there is SERIOUSLY SOMETHING WRONG WITH A VEHICLE THAT THE BRAKES WILL LOCK UP ON THE INTERSTATE WITHOUT ANY WARNING OR OTHER MECHANICAL PROBLEMS. After finally making it back from Atlanta I was able to drop the car off at the dealership and they want to charge me $230 RIDICULOUS! The last bonus to owning a JEEP is each tire has a sensor so if I continue to drive this junk I have 2 more tires that can lock up with out ANY warning. More
Worst Experience Ever I called because my wiper fluid nozzles were broke and needed replaced. I knew they were broke because I had an oil change elsewhere and they looked I called because my wiper fluid nozzles were broke and needed replaced. I knew they were broke because I had an oil change elsewhere and they looked at it first and advised me the dealer needed to fix. I explained this to Mark when I called. I got there 2 days later for my 10:00 appt. At 12:00 I was told they didn't have the parts in stock!!! But no worries, they get them locally and will have them soon.... ??? Factory parts locally? at 1:15 I was told they were going to have to order the parts because the ones they bought are 'generic' to fit any car, but leak on mine. SERIOUSLY???? Had they actually worked I would have received 'generic' parts and not even known it. Oh and they would cost a little more.... When I asked about the warranty he seemed shocked and stated he never looked at the mileage. It was under warranty. I was assured I did not need a new appt and when the parts came in I could "swing in" and have them put right in. I came back 4 days later after the parts were in and was told I was first in line... after an hour and 15 mins I could see my car sitting in the bay, hood down. This meant one of two things, it was not started yet or it was done. I told Mark I had to leave, NOW and he went to check. Sure enough, it was done. Wonder how long it sat there completed while my mother and I waited patiently, much more patiently than I ever should have been. Absolutely a pathetic excuse for a dealer. I barely received an apology let alone any sort of compensation... he how bout an oil change or at least a car wash??? NEVER will I return to this dealer. I will buy our next Jeeps-yes plural-elsewhere! More
The good guys at Hoover Dodge helped my son, a student at SCAD get our old and tired Durango get back on the road again. With me in NYC and him in Savannah, their level of attention to repairing the water p SCAD get our old and tired Durango get back on the road again. With me in NYC and him in Savannah, their level of attention to repairing the water pump, hoses, etc helped me deal with the anxiety of being nearly 900 miles away and unable to assist. Older vehicles especially, come with surprises--you fix one thing and a couple of days later something else goes wrong. But these guys were sympathetic and caring, got the job done quickly, and charged me fairly. Their explanations and telephone conversations were helpful, professional and considerate in spite of the frustration on both sides. I wholeheartedly recommend this service team and their mechanics behind the scenes. They are capable of handling tough mechanical issues and desperate customers like me who expect everything to be done in a New York minute. More
Do vehicles under warranty normally go up in flames while being parked, after being worked on at the dealership? Well they do if you are dealing with Bob Maddox Chrysler. Basically my brand new 2003 PT Cru being parked, after being worked on at the dealership? Well they do if you are dealing with Bob Maddox Chrysler. Basically my brand new 2003 PT Cruiser was in and out of Bob Maddox Chrysler for repairs. When the car went up in flames (again while being parked) and was totalled Bob Maddox took no responsibility. Bob Maddox Chrysler, especially owner David Hoover, was disrespectful and unsympathetic. I urge you to buy elsewhere. More
