Usually, when I walk into a dealership, I don’t have the warm and fuzzies. I just know that there’s a person lurking in every corner ready to pounce. I just know that when I get to the paper work I’m going warm and fuzzies. I just know that there’s a person lurking in every corner ready to pounce. I just know that when I get to the paper work I’m going to get railroaded and I’m going to end up paying twice the price. This was absolutely not even close to my experience with southern motors cdjr in Savannah. I walked out of this place with more than a new truck and new Hornet ..I feel like I gained several new friends in the process. Not at one single time did I ever feel like I was in dealership. Or that I was being hounded or pressured into buying a vehicle. Negotiating was a breeze. I got such a phenomenal deal that I kinda feel bad for my sales guys dakwane and Antonio.. he isn’t making anything on this one. I could not have had a better experience and will definitely be coming back when I need a new car. Scott, Alex, Marcus, dakwane, Antonio and Roger, I appreciate your help and look forward to dealing with you in the future More
Currently dealing with a situation with this dealership where my warranty claim was never submitted. 3 weeks and no return phone calls later I finally reach the service department to find no manager at wor where my warranty claim was never submitted. 3 weeks and no return phone calls later I finally reach the service department to find no manager at work to submit it and a General Manager, Scott Downer, who is “too busy” to take a call. Still no resolution in site. More
Our family has purchased two Wagoneer's from the Savannah Branch, Salesman, Grant DeLoach. Grant was a pleasure to deal with, got us the best deal, better than we ask for, He was super knowledgeable, and ex Branch, Salesman, Grant DeLoach. Grant was a pleasure to deal with, got us the best deal, better than we ask for, He was super knowledgeable, and explained everything in full. When we left the dealership, we felt we had won the lottery. If you want a fantastic deal, a quality vehicle, great service, check out CDJR Savannah, Georgia. Ask for Grant More

Daughter at SCAD took in her Jeep that had two bolts come off between exhaust and CAT through rust. Removing two bolts apparently took 2 hours for a total labor cost of $382. I couldn’t check the labor rate off between exhaust and CAT through rust. Removing two bolts apparently took 2 hours for a total labor cost of $382. I couldn’t check the labor rate as they omit it from their invoices so I don’t now if it was really 2 hours or 1 or 4. Shady. The nuts and washers apparently came to $48 as they are certified. I can get these parts for $14 in total direct from Jeep parts so big mark up on retail prices. Finally they were told to call me before commencing work. No one gave them the instructions and no one called me. I called them the day the car was dropped off, was told someone would call me back but they are backed up so no call. Apparently they called my wife to tell her the work was done and she handed the card over assuming I had talked to them. I was on a plane but again left a message for their service manage. Had to call 3 times for Pete. Do Better than rip off students in a student town who don’t know any better and are trusting. I will be getting a 2nd opinion on time and costs from a local Jeep Dealer. Happy to amend this review once you amend the hours. Your guys are slow, not qualified or over charging IMHO. Which one is it? Avoid. More
The incompetency of Peter Capehart is almost too profound to put into words. How someone who is in charge of the service department yet can’t get a simple manufacturer warranty defect issue resolved is mind to put into words. How someone who is in charge of the service department yet can’t get a simple manufacturer warranty defect issue resolved is mind boggling. He admitted to letting my warranty claim time out and never followed up to see why or contacted anyone to even attempt to resolve the issue. I have also never had as much trouble getting someone to reply to an email or even answer the phone which therefore required me to have to go to the dealership to discuss in person, most often waiting for an hour, if he was even in the office that day. After an additional 1.5 months of back and forth contact with dodge customer care, even they have given up hope in trying to get him to do his job. At this point their only advice is to start from scratch at another dealership, and therefore wasting 6 months of my time. This was all attempted through the south savannah dealership, somehow, someone thought it was a brilliant idea to promote this individual to be in charge of the service department at the north savannah dealership as well. So now if I have any hope to remedy this manufacturer defect that should have never even left the production line, I have to start the process all over with a dealership that is out of town. Step One Automotive Group should be embarrassed to have such a poor caliber individual working for them let alone in charge of not 1 but 2 of their service departments. More
