My family has been doing business with Southern Motors Acura for 15 years. The salesperson that sold us our vehicle lied about the car fax. We later learned the car had been wrecked twice before we purchased it. When we tried to trade it in a year later we were given the run around on a trade in value, and after spending nearly 2 months waiting on a deal to work, my husband and I were told they would only pay us half of what they sold us the car for. We would lose 5K on our trade AND the manager wanted us to pay 5 to 7K more on a vehicle we could purchase from another dealership. Terrible service, untrustworthy salesperson, and manager unwilling to help us out in this stressful situation. More

Everything went just as Mr. Rhinehart explained, he was always available if I had a question, he kept me up to date as to what I could expect at each stage through purchase and delivery. Disappointed Customer Dear Southern Motors Acura On Nov 10, 2016, I took my Acura MDX for Oil Change at Southern Motors Acura Savannah Ga. Right after 1 week of the oil Dear Southern Motors Acura On Nov 10, 2016, I took my Acura MDX for Oil Change at Southern Motors Acura Savannah Ga. Right after 1 week of the oil change, the Oil Change Due light started blinking again. I took it back to the dealership and inquired about the same. The technician/front desk (Shareen Johnson) responded very rudely that it’s not a big deal, looks like we just forgot the reset the light, whereas the condition of the oil and the filter doesn’t seems that it would have been recently changed. I requested them to change the oil again which they denied and ask me that they will offer me a free service next time. I requested them again that instead of offering me free service next time, why don’t you take care of this issue today. I went to the manager (Andy) to discuss this issue, but before I reach, Shareen had already called Andy and have given him the false information. So, I went to Andy (Who even didn’t offered us to sit) and explained him my issue, Andy replied that he will honor the Shareen Words and can’t do anything for me, other than a free service next time. My issue is why they are willing to give me a free service next time… why not now… I am very much disappointed by the behavior of the staff of a Premium Brand Service Center, someone would even not expect this kind of behavior and attitude from a known Brands Dealership. Salesman Brian Powers got in touch with me and was very friendly asking for the opportunity to earn my business. I decided to make the trip down from Charleston and am glad I did. Brian and the rest of the team were very friendly, surprisingly low pressure, answered my every question, and the result was a car and a deal both of which make me very happy. I am recommending to everyone I know in Charleston considering an Acura that the 2 hour drive to Southern Motors in Charleston to visit Brian is well worth their time. More

Worst, most unethical business EVER!! DONT DO IT, don't even think about doing it. Save yourself the trouble of dealing with this dealership. They would not call me back during the buying process,and now that Ive bought Ive found that they lied about the condition of the vehicle and now they wont return my calls after ive sent them text and emails about the problems Im having with the vehicle. I take some responsibility as all of the signs were pointing telling me to walk away but they had exactly what I was looking for. Good luck to you if you decide to go with them as your dealer. More
Great Experience...And I hadn't brought a car in 17 years! And if I could given them additional stars I would. This was the first car I brought in 17 years (still driving my 95 Acura Integra). I would start off and say I was a difficult customer but from their sales to GM, they guided me through the process, less anxious and actually enjoyable. Zak Craig, sales was GREAT! Zak kept me abreast of specials and incentives, until we found the one that fit for me. The day I purchased my MDX was the best. I received a phone call to come look at a vehicle, drove in, looked at it, and accepted. Finance "George" made going through the paperwork not only easy and quick....but enjoyable! As they were preparing for the last steps to give me the keys, their GM Mr. Jim Brenner came down to speak with us about our purchase, Savannah, whatever....it was like speaking with an old Friend. Southern Motors Acura is the place to go! If you want quality, top-notch staff, please go speak with them. Not sure when I'll buy my next one, but I will be going back to Southern Motors Acura of Savannah! Thanks Everyone for the Great Experience! More

My check transmission light came on for the third time with only 2000 miles on it (see photos) and each time i take it in to get checked out "the car is doing as it should" and "it is doing what it is designed to do" come on be real the car is BRAND SPANKING NEW "0" miles ZERO!!! And they test the car and find a issue? Why is the car giving the computer a sensor issue if the car is doing what is supposed to are you kidding me! The car is a lemon considered to the state of Georgia yet Southern motors Acura says it's a Acura issue and they make the call!! Really why would you sell a lemon trade my brand new car out! Or give me back my hard earned money! I would love to go check out Infinity and Lexus and or Cadillac out! To their credit, the staff treated me well as I evaluated cars, with none of the runarounds or time-wasting xxxxxxfound at other dealerships. However, when it came time to discuss pricing and fees some questionable sales strategies and curious “mistakes” came to light. Therefore, in the end I can only rate this an average experience. These folks sell cars like any other dealership, and that means you have to do your homework and watch their numbers carefully at each step of the transaction. More
Hands Down The Best Dealership I've Ever Visited!!! When I found Southern Motors Acura I had settled on an Acura but I had become exhausted and frustrated with the process of finding the right dealershi When I found Southern Motors Acura I had settled on an Acura but I had become exhausted and frustrated with the process of finding the right dealership to purchase through. I searched online for all of the Acura dealerships within 500 miles of my house and started calling. From the first phone call to Southern Motors they were helpful, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I told them what I was looking for and not only did they find it for me but they gave me the best price of any other dealership on that particular car. In fact, it was such a good price that it made a road trip to their dealership well worth it. The car arrived within a couple of days and when I came to pick it up I was greeted with a warm, friendly welcome by everyone there. Jim, Michael, Mickey, Ross and George each took the time to walk me through the workings of the car and its navigation system, the paperwork which seemed so cumbersome at first and they made sure I had everything I could possibly need before sending me on my way. In my mind it's the small things that say the most and when I walked out of the showroom to take my new car home I found birthday balloons tied to my car; the nicest touch and something they certainly didn't have to do. I purchased my car a week ago and they have even reached out to me no less than 3 times since then to make sure everything is ok and I answer any questions I may have. I cannot thank everyone there enough for their hospitality, assistance and the wonderful deal they gave me on my beautiful new RDX. More
