We were on vacation and our Acura MDX died the day before departure up in Bluffton. We had it towed to Southern Motors Acura hoping we could get it repaired since it was Memorial Day weekend. They had the part in stock and 24 hours later we picked up our car and departed for home just a day later than planned. Shareen Johnson in the service department was wonderful and so helpful. I know we were lucky they had the part but I think they sped it up since we were out of town. Shareen was the best and they were very accommodating! More
Wish I had seen all of the remarks before I came to this dealer. Drove off with no gas in tank 2 weeks Later went for service because backing up my mustang gt it was jerking and rattling. Problems right of the the first week.They made an appointment for me at ford dealer in bluffton 3 weeks later picking up my car, and now tags are expired and they can't gave an extension for a few days. Laws of Georgia where I bought car and I live in south Carolina. NEVER EVER BUY from them. I got maybe a lemon. I'll have to fix this by myself. Dmv in south Carolina was booked for today and Tuesday first appointment available for Wednesday. They they care if I can a ticket or not. Heartless when it's not for you or your own. I should have walked away. Not very helpful people at all. More
Nightmare I took my TL in for a oil change.2.5 hours later they tell me I have a blown head gasket & that my car is smoking!! I’m like what y’all better call the police up here. It’s doesn’t take 2.5 hours for no oil change. They made everything my fault that I had ran my car hot. Both managers where so nasty to me. After going back & forth for another hour they finally agreed to let me use their vehicle to check my car out. They call me 2 days later to tell me the tech put a extra quart of oil in my car which made it smoke. I got no Apology’s for their wrong doings and for wasting my time!! Never again will I use this dealership!!!! Shareen Johnson knew that my car wasn’t smoking when she checked it in but didn’t open her mouth!! Lesson learned I’m just gonna stick with granger Honda for all my car needs More
Stay away.....they are crooks I paid to have my car serviced here but hey toook My money and failed to change my filter. They refused to deliver on their promises. Don't trust them I brought a used 2014 Acura MDX everything was cool everything went fine, so I thought. I emailed the finance manager and my sales guy no response if this is how they do business I would never go back there I hope this helps someone please make sure you do research before you do any business with them More

My wife and a friend who accompanied us understood the same coverage as sold to us. At end of lease we tried to obtain a refund for the end of lease inspection as it would have been waived in case of another lease . We however opted to purchase the car. We got the runaround from Mickey, so did we from Acura finance and finally from client relations. First they said no such contract existed so we faxed it to all the departments we spoke with, then the dealership refused to discuss this matter with us, also the salesman Mickey, mentioned tangentially they would waive half the money if we stepped into another lease....The “client relations” argument was that the policy only mentions 3 oil changes within the lease mileage or time, as such in fact they sell you 3 oil changes for 800 dollars.... Overall this is a scam and Acura obviously lets the dealers roam free for rip offs We will never return to Southern Motors nor do we foresee ever getting another Acura. Shame for their way of doing business! Hope it helps someone not to use this dealer or be advised that their sales pitch is just empty promise! More
