Horrible experience with Southern. First found a vehicle on the internet and called to verify it was on the lot in Norfolk and was told it was there on the lot. Pulled up and sales person said sorry it's on another lot in Chesapeake. Rode out to Chesapeake with them only to find out the vehicle was sold the day prior. I was looking for a specific trim and they told me they had one on the lot. Went and looked and it was in fact not the trim I was told was out there. They clearly do.not know what's even in their inventory. Went in the next day and purchased a different vehicle the deal went ok, but was still lied to about the dealer installed items on my car. First they told me the LoJack was already installed and could not be removed but in the business office they give you a form from LoJack with you agreeing to activate it and it is not required to be purchased. This is my fault for signing the form but it's the deceptive practice to make a buck that is really the issue. They also put on a commodore paint protective sealant but I don't see how they are protecting a vehicle when there was still factory placed film from delivery that I had to pull off once I got the vehicle home. I will not recommend this dealer who does not care about their customers and provides a very expensive add-on that can't possibly do the job it is intended to do. Lastly the business office sent me a form randomly three days after purchase without conversation requesting me to sign stating that if the bank didn't provide them a title for my trade within 10 days after delivery that they would cash a large check that I didn't write. The bank has 10 days to release the lien on the title, and I have zero control over that part of the process. I didn't sign the form as what it contained was a complete lie. More
After 40 years I have found the worst service department. They don't return calls, waste your time.
