Pretty Good BUT... The service was good but the staff acts like they do not want your business some times. They can’t do certain things after 2:00pm. The service was good but the staff acts like they do not want your business some times. They can’t do certain things after 2:00pm. More

Still waiting So I have been a Southern customer for a few years now. I am on my second Jeep and my third Southern vehicle and this was by far my worst experience. So I have been a Southern customer for a few years now. I am on my second Jeep and my third Southern vehicle and this was by far my worst experience. I had my current 2017 Jeep Wrangler in for an oil change and inspection. I also wanted my front carpet looked at because it was coming up and was starting to be an issue. This is the third time I have had my vehicle looked at for this reason in the last year and a half. I was told by the service advisor Sam, that everything is good and no issues. Well when I look at my service ticket it states that the reason behind my carpet coming up is abuse. When I tried to ask Sam he said that is what the service manager told him to put on the ticket. Well I have tried for 2 days to get a hold of Shawn Elza, to no avail. All I wanted the dealership to do is to talk to me so I can understand why I was told I abused my vehicle when it has been an issue since I have purchased the vehicle. I have normally recommended this dealership for many years and very rarely have any issues. The fact that the Service Manager still has not returned my call is disconcerting. More
Yeah I’ll just sit here and wait. So everything went pretty well, until my car was done and I guess it was a good idea to just leave me sitting in the waiting area. I booked my appoint So everything went pretty well, until my car was done and I guess it was a good idea to just leave me sitting in the waiting area. I booked my appointment online, that was good. I got to the dealership and a guy asked if I booked online, I said yes, he said well that’s weird because I don’t have any techs at noon. So I thought ok that is odd, however my vehicle was soon up in the air being attended to. So I thought it was going good. I got up to walk around, came back to my phone ringing, I had left it to charge on the available chargers, and missed a call from the dealership. So then my van rolls into the drop off/pick up area. So I walk into the area where you pay and say hey, that’s my van is it ready? The lady behind the desk stated that they were just waiting for the service tech to bring up the work order. I said ok great. About 10 minutes goes by and nothing. So then a guy jumps in my van and parks it out front. So that was weird and new. Maybe that’s how they do it here. Is there a problem with the work order? What’s up? So I sit there another 15 minutes....nothing. No one came in to look for me, no PA system announcements nothing. I walk back into the area where you pay and ask a new lady about my van, still parked out front. They direct me across the bay to the service area, where I talk to the service tech and state that my van is out front, is it done? She says yes and we didn’t have a way to get a hold of you. She takes me over to pay and that’s when I learn that your “military discount for all services” doesn’t apply to oil changes I guess. I forgot the half ass reason she gave me why it didn’t apply. Overall, not that impressed and i probably won’t be back. How hard was it to call me a second time? Or walk into the waiting room and ask if I was there? The real question is, how long were you going to let me sit there while my van was done. Oh and one last thing, my driver side rear tire was low on pressure, you filled it up, not a peep about it, no hey Mr. Hick did you want us to look at that? How long has it been like that? Hey here’s our rate to fix it, not even an attempt. Well there’s my two cents. More
Oil change The overall service is pretty good and I've never had an issue with this particular dealership. My only suggestion is that the service center be a lit The overall service is pretty good and I've never had an issue with this particular dealership. My only suggestion is that the service center be a little bit more on top of their game. They called me and told me my jeep was ready to pick up and when I went to go pick it up nobody knew where it had been parked and it took them about 15 minutes to find it More
Broken when returned The staff are extremely professional and friendly. With that being said, the last three times I brought my vehicle in for oil change, service check en The staff are extremely professional and friendly. With that being said, the last three times I brought my vehicle in for oil change, service check engine light, and state inspection, something has been broken, that was NOT broke when I dropped off my vehicle, the first two times we didn't say anything, xxxx it's mostly plastic and plastic clips brake...but this time it was the wire that helps the glovebox stay in, not a big deal but I was in the glovebox 6 days before we brought my vehicle in and the little cable was there, the day after we picked up the vehicle I opened the glovebox at a red light and it fell into the floor, we brought the vehicle back to have the state inspection redone & complained about the piece missing, our service advisor was very nice and check with the technician who claimed they knew nothing about it, so I complained to the service manager, he too talk to the technician who once again knew nothing, said he didn't even touch the glovebox, but did put in writing that the cabin air filter was checked, it's behind the xxxx glovebox so did the technician lie about checking the filter, or lie about touching the glovebox box? Can't be both...so after some boarder line being called a lier the little cable is on order to fix the glovebox. The Service Advisor and Service Manager very nice. The technician a lier I wish I could have looked eye to eye instead of through the service manager. All that is one small example, but there have been other damage I said nothing about. So no I would not recommend due to service technicians breaking things and not repairing them, or claiming they know nothing when the customer notices something broke. More
everyone was polite everyone was very polite. It is much better than it was in the past. I had a problem with the inspection and had to have repairs done. I still think t everyone was very polite. It is much better than it was in the past. I had a problem with the inspection and had to have repairs done. I still think that it takes too long for a visit. No one gave me an option of getting a ride home. I called Uber. I got there at 6:30am to wait so my vehicle will be inspected. Past experience was after 8am the possibility was that I will be too late. The repairs meant that I would be there until 3-3:30pm and without a ride or Uber I would have to wait there until the jeep was available. More
Walk In Oil Change This location is always amazing! Everyone is so nice and very helpful if I have any questions. I never have any issues at this location, Norfolk Chry This location is always amazing! Everyone is so nice and very helpful if I have any questions. I never have any issues at this location, Norfolk Chrysler Jeep. I went to the Chesapeake, VA location for my previous oil change and the experience was horrible. The wait time was ok, but realized my fluid levels were not checked or topped off. A few weeks later my car was having an issue running smoothly and was running very sluggish like it wanted to cut off. I stopped at the closest place to me at that time to have someone check it out. I was told by car technicians that my car had no anti freeze/fluid in the radiator and that they could not check the oil because my dipstick handle was broken off. The car techs put antifreeze in my radiator. My car drove much better after that. I called the Chesapeake VA Chrysler Jeep location and left a message for someone to call me and I never got a call. I had to figure out how to get the broken oil dipstick out myself then purchase a new one. I have had my oil changed by the dealership since I purchased it in Feb. 2008 so I believe it was broken at that location and they dialed to tell me. I told you that horror story to say I will never go to any other location for servicing my vehicle other than the Norfolk Chrysler Jeep location. The gentleman at the service desk gave me his card and misplaced it. I hate that I do not remember the staff names but they were all excellent. Vanderella Wilson More
