My service rep, Sam, is awesome. He is always courteous and helpful. I was not happy with being charged over $50 for my fluids to be topped off. I thought that was the whole point of the Southern Hospita and helpful. I was not happy with being charged over $50 for my fluids to be topped off. I thought that was the whole point of the Southern Hospitality program. Also, the clerk refused my one time complimentary service coupon and also refused to honor the 10% discount coupon I had received for my birthday. I understand it's no longer my birth month, but my oil wasn't due to be changed during my birth month and I wasn't aware I would be charged for required automotive fluids. More
This particular service appointment was by far the worst. I had never been so insulted, berated and undermined by a service consultant like I was after arriving Southern Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Fiat. Mr. Sam I had never been so insulted, berated and undermined by a service consultant like I was after arriving Southern Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Fiat. Mr. Sam Vanderslice approached me with the rudest attitude, after I was instructed to complete check in via the Mobile Check-In app which states “ when you arrive please park in an available spot near our service department entrance. Upon arrival, please enter the service ice area and drop off your keys with our Concierge. Your keys will be delivered to your advisor who will be in contact with you to review any further details or recommendations. Please inform the concierge if you have any immediate questions for your advisor. Thank you for choosing “Dealer Name”. My wife spoke with Mr. Vanderslice to bring to his attention the fact we followed the instruction sent to us via email, and his response to her “everyone in front of you had an appt too”. I was not trying to jump any line, we parked and walked up to the service areas as instructed. Mr. Vanderslice had no right to be accusatory or rude, he addressed everyone else in the service area completely different than he had myself. I hope there is some sort of training in place for staff to correct this sort of behavior, because this should not be the voice of customer service with the service department. This encounter has forever changed my views towards the service department at Southern. More
Sam was doing the best that he could as the only Service Advisor on Saturday, 28 August. He had a long line of people waiting to process in and I waited 30 minutes passed my appointment just to get the cons Advisor on Saturday, 28 August. He had a long line of people waiting to process in and I waited 30 minutes passed my appointment just to get the consult. I don't know why the dealership even offers appointments when they don't honor them. The service coupons offered on the dealer website are worthless due to all the restrictions in the small print. The dealership forgot to perform the State Inspection that was requested at the Service check-in. More

Just had the worst dealership experience since I had to deal with Greenbrier Dodge. Brought it in for a failed A/C compressor and it turned into several return trips and additional issues. The first round, deal with Greenbrier Dodge. Brought it in for a failed A/C compressor and it turned into several return trips and additional issues. The first round, they forgot to reinstall a lower belt shield, used the wrong belt (it was rubbing the backside of the tensioner) and the rear A/C was never fixed. Second time, they tried returning it with 2 broken interior panel clips, a hanging exhaust hanger ( it wasn’t damaged or broken, just not remounted to the vehicle) and grease all over the driver’s seat and armrest. Driving off the lot, I noticed an exhaust noise/vibration, but assumed it was a misaligned bracket and didn’t want to deal with the horrible repairs anymore. After going under the vehicle at home, I noticed that the middle heat shield was mashed up above the exhaust pipe when the hanging bracket was reinstalled. I drove back the next day and was understandably angry and at that point realized I wasn’t dealing with competent people. The service rep, Tina, was rude and condescending from the very beginning of this mess and had weeks waiting on back ordered parts to make sure the vehicle was returned in the condition it was delivered and the repairs were completed. All 3 times. When I asked to see the service manager, Shawn, I experienced something that I can only describe as total shock. He tried explaining away every issue in an incoherent and uneducated manner. If the hanging bracket was due to damage, why was the exhaust pipe in perfect (not even a scratch) condition? Did the bracket unscrew itself? There was no broken bolt left in the frame and no way damage could have worked it’s way around the exhaust and damaged the shield above it. The exhaust was simply reinstalled incorrectly and the manager’s reasoning was that the vehicle was “ never on the lift.” Regardless of lifted or not, the location of the rear A/C lines and the tow hitch require the exhaust be loosened and moved to access the hardware. This is directly from Dodge’s own service manual. Assuming that was even referenced during this repair. If your goal is to provide this level of service, don’t expect myself or anyone that I may be in contact with, in person or on social media to purchase and/or have their vehicle serviced at your facility. These horrible experiences and what we all know to be a subpar product are the reason Chrysler extended their warranty indefinitely on my vehicle to begin with. If you like photos of anything regarding these repairs to solidify my observations, feel free to ask. More
