We have had a series of problems with the service department . Lamont Berry is the only saving grace and the reason I come back there. In August of this year we had an oil change in the Town and Country, we picked it up Friday evening, when my wife drove it to work Monday morning by the time she got home for lunch the check engine light was on and it said it was low on oil, we had to stop 3 times to put oil in so we could get it back to the dealership, thankfully Lamont was able to calm my wife down had the proble fixed. In October 14th while my wife was on her way home from shopping she called me and said the car wouldn’t shift gears and the check engine light was back on.she drove home at 20 miles per hour and made it home. We had the van towed to the dealership on the 15th. We picked it up the 19th when we were told it was fixed. The van was leaking transmission fluid in the garage and driveway and we drove back to the dealer Monday the 22nd. We were to,d one of the lines wasn’t tight and they fixed it. Monday the 29th my wife was on her way to care for her parents in Great Bridge and she called and said the transmission wasn’t shifting again. I told her head for the dealership and I called Lamont once again. She wound up having to push the van off of Battlefied Blvd into Golden Corral parking lot into a parking space and we had it towed once again. I hope you can see our frustration with this. I am waiting for it to be fixed once again as of this writing. More

Express Oil Change/Tire Rotation The service Dept. had always been top notch. They’re very professional and courteous. They strive to take care of you as quickly as possible. However, The service Dept. had always been top notch. They’re very professional and courteous. They strive to take care of you as quickly as possible. However, during my last oil change, they failed to call me when my vehicle was finished. I needlessly sat in the waiting room an extra 45 minutes. I would have sat longer if I didn’t go ask the status of my vehicle. I sure it was an honest mistake. This is the first time anything like this has happened. This is the first time I haven’t given them a 5 star rating. More
Disappointing oil change The reasone I rate the service center 1 star is 2 fold. 1. I made an appointment for an 8 o’clock oil change. When I arrived at the dealership I was The reasone I rate the service center 1 star is 2 fold. 1. I made an appointment for an 8 o’clock oil change. When I arrived at the dealership I was informed that I did not have an appointment and that oil changes are first come first serve. The service department asked if I made an appointment online, when I replied yes, they told me that is an error on the website and it does not really book an appointment. Then I was told I should not have pulled into the service bay I should have parked my car in the line of cars that backed out into the lot. This is very frusterating that a corporation as large as Souther Auto Group has a website that the employees know operates incorrectly and it does not get fixed. 2. I choose not to wait in the waiting room I instead went to look at the new 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. As I walked out to the new car lot my car was being pulled out of the service bay and the guy driving it came whipping around the corner fast enough the tires squealed. I waved at him and walked twards the car and told him he needs to slow down. His responce was well the car was in gear. Then after almost 2 hours I was walking thru the parking lot and saw my car drive by the dealership on the side road by McDonalds. I thought that was strange then I saw it drive by again and the 3rd time it was pulled into the lot and parked. Yes I am sure it was my car. I drive a Plum Crazy Purple SRT8 with vinyl decals in the rear quarter windows. I do not think any of the things that happend that day reflect well on Southern Auto Group. I was very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and inability to keep a previously schedualed appointment. More

horrible second time bringing my jeep in for a rattling noise that was wasn't correctly fixed the first time. They had my jeep for over a day and a half this second time bringing my jeep in for a rattling noise that was wasn't correctly fixed the first time. They had my jeep for over a day and a half this second time and i got no update from them until I called twice! The first time I was told I would get a call back with an update bc the tech was out on lunch, two hours later and no call I had to call again and then wait another 45 minutes for them to call me back. at the end of the day and a half they JUST figured out that the rattling under my jeep was my struts..something my husband knew before I even brought it in the first time. I needed my jeep back (after them having it for 2 days a second time and doing nothing to it) for a family emergency and now have to bring it in a 3rd time for them to fix the issue. they had my jeep for over 3 days total and havent done anything. the first time I brought it in (about a week ago) and was told it was fixed but when I picked it up the valet still heard the rattling and told me to bring it back because they didnt do their job. so frustrating. More
