Shady Service rep stated it would be $89 for the diagnostic test to see the problem and that $89 would go towards repairs if we choose to do them. We had our ABS light on and check engine light on. Once they called with the outrageous price to do the work, we told them no because I called my local mechanic who said he could do the work for $1000 less. When we picked up the car from them they billed use for 2 diagnostic tests saying because the car had 2 lights on and it's 2 separate problems. We were only told the total would be $89 if we chose not to use them for repairs. The service rep wrote another $89 on the check sheet after we had told him we got a much better quote. I'm no car genius but I know you only hook the diagnostic machine up once and it tells you the error codes for the vehicle problems. Extremely shady dealership with poor customer service. Service rep said he told us the day before that it was $89 for each problem which is not true. Paper work showed $89 written in hand next to each problem we told him which could have been added after the fact. The service rep couldn't even remember our names but apparently can recall exactly telling us it was $89 for each diagnostic problem which is a blatant lie.the only explanation I can come up with is they were not happy I found somewhere else to do the work for $1000 cheaper and decided they needed to make more money off us because we weren't doing the work with them. More

What a joke of a dealership. First off this is my first review I have ever done. It takes alot for me to do a review but I have been so disappointed with this "stealership" I pur First off this is my first review I have ever done. Great experience dealing with the sales man but when it has come to dealing with the service department if I could give them a negative star I would. I've known shade tree mechanics with better work ethic than this place. The service writer I have been dealing with has terrible customer service. I have no idea how he is still employed at Southern unless there standards are just that low. I have decided to drive the extra mileage to suffolk for service work just so I don't have to deal with southern. More

finally technicians who can repair a vehicle after having carolina chrysler in elizabeth city nc.ruined the steering on my wifes 2013 chry 200, i took the car to southern chrysler in chesapeake v after having carolina chrysler in elizabeth city nc.ruined the steering on my wifes 2013 chry 200, i took the car to southern chrysler in chesapeake va. bill newell and his technician david immediately diagnosed the steering problem (bad steering rack the carolina chrysler ruined) and immediately took the car in for repairs because they said it was unsafe to drive and affected the proper repair of the vehicle. i really appreciate their concern and prompt action and recommend anyone to seek southern chrysler out for car service. Annual FREE inspection I took my 2001 Sebring in to get an oil change and annual inspection in August. They passed everything but the windshield. They said that I needed a new one. t I had to get out of the car to find it - it was about an inch and a half in the left hand driver's seat. I had this repaired with a silicone caulk over three years ago by a windshield company and Chrysler passed my car for two years before this year. I couldn't even see it while in the driver's seat, if the crack had spread across and hampered my vision I would have replaced it. I went to 3 inspection stations and they ALL said that it should never failed inspection!!! I am still sporting my rejection sticker. More
