Mr. Jackson, our sales contact explained the process after listening to what we were looking for. After test driving the used truck, some newer trucks caught our eye. Mr. Jackson went above and beyond to meet both our personal and financial needs. Mr. Jackson is someone that gained our trust through his experience and knowledge of vehicles and processing requirements. Everyone at Hall auto from the General Manager, Finance department to Mr. Jackson made our experience very rewarding. My wife and I really appreciate the honest and professional service all the staff at Hall Auto provided to my family. My daughter found the vehicle of her dreams a Chevy Equinox. She went to Hall Chevy in Western Branch and was allowed to purchase the car after a long song and dance on the worst credit options availab Equinox. Now that she has the car it has needed repair after repair. The car was dirty and never cleaned except for a 99cent car wash. When we try to get help from Svc Dept - we are told - it's not our problem. Give us $500 we will fix your new problem. The light has been on since purchase date and they have yet to help us. Oh yeah -we haven't even made it out of the 30 day warranty. We are a Chevy Family. if you want a Chevy though - go ANYWHERE ELSE!!!! More

Internet price was very good for this 2010 Equinox. The financing rate was much better than what I got through my own bank. We came back on Monday to purchase, and were there about three hours just doing paperwork, and the car wasn't even there because the inventory manager had driven it home! We were there two more hours the next day doing more paperwork and financing. We are pleased with the price and the vehicle itself, as well as the personnel. When they showed me the financing options, they didn't tell me the payments were calculated with extended service agreement already built in; I was surprised when I got to the financing table. Also the internet add was incorrect on the features, and the salespeople didn't know what features were in the vehicle either. More
I purchased my vehicle last month on February 16th. I financed through another lender and the check was written for more than it should have been and the dealership owed me the difference. Since February 16th, I've made three trips back and forth to this dealership because of their own doing. I live on the Eastern Shore of Virginia which is not a skip, jump, and a hop away. The first couple of times I asked about the reimbursements they owed me the first thing they holler is “they don't cut checks there, but corporate does” "They will call corporate and see what is going on”. They would pretend to call or whatever you want to call it, and then tell me “oh I wasn't able to get in touch with anyone but I left a message” or they would say “that someone in corporate will have the check cut for you and you should receive it sometime by the end of the week” (reminding you that this was told to me a couple of weeks ago). Next week would be a month since I purchased my vehicle and still no reimbursement check. Visited this dealership again yesterday and informed them that I still have not received my reimbursement check. Again, was given the run around. My father asked for corporate’s number; the guy who waited on us Jason Kassman didn't give it to us but pointed to the receptionist and told us that we would have to ask her (which is unprofessional because he could of gave it us just as well). The receptionist did give us the number no questions asked (thank you by the way). When my father called and explained what was going on, the lady Donna told him that she did not receive any paperwork from Halls Automotive of the Western Branch that I was supposed to of received a reimbursement from anything. She said all they had to do was fax over that little piece of information and the check would have been cut. My father informed Jason of what she said (caught him in a lie), he faxed the information over to her (which should have been done the same week I purchased my vehicle) and by 2 that afternoon, I went and picked up my check from the corporate office. Donna did apologize, but it wasn't her fault and informed my father that her boss called the dealership and dealt with them, which I'm glad they did because somebody needed too. Overall, I am very disappointed with the finance team altogether. They sucked terribly. They lied through their teeth on countless occasions and gave me the run around each and every time I wnet looking for answers. The only time action was taken was when my father had to call and talk to someone within the corporate office who was not aware of what was going on. Because of this and their lies I would never recommend anyone I know to this particular dealership. I would tell them to visit their surrounding partners but bypass this place all together. Donna from the corporate office, I really do appreciate all your help and if ever I need assistance, I would give the corporate office a call again to help solve my problems being how you had to solve it the first time. Came to dealership back in Decemeber after being released from a bankruptcy previously. knew that getting a vehicle wouldnt be easy, but figured i'd try. Came to dealership and was immediately told that I could not get the vehicle that I initially wanted and was in turn given a list of cars to choose from. Decided on a car and decided to test it out. Had the car for a few days and then decided that I wanted to take advantage of their "exchange guarantee" program and this is a complete nightmare. No one explained that if you do this, you'd have to pay EXTRA in addition to fees. Had I been explained this, I wouldn't have wasted my time going all the way back to this dealership. And then the initial person whom I worked with, "passed the buck" to another sales rep and did not assist me. To make matters even better, the car had 2 bad tires on the front of the car, that the sales manager did allow me to get fixed at the dealership until my down payment was completed. SERIOUSLY! You want me to drive an unsafe vehicle on the road???!!! After speaking with service manager, she convinced this sales manager that it needs to be fixed...and so it was done. Just 3 days ago, had an issue with brake pads..they refused to fix (this was previously reported to service manager and they did not fix then due to partial down payment...) HERE WE GO AGAIN. Went to reputable shop and this was repaired out of MY pocket and now the car runs better then when I purchased it. Beware before going into this dealership and be forewarned that you may have a lot to take in before making a decision like this. More

There we met Levi Whitehead, he was very friendly and enthusiastic. He gathered all of our information to get us the best finacing he could and even talk to his boss about getting the best possible price on the truck for us since my wife is in the Coast Guard. While we wiated to hear the price Levi took both me and my wife out for a test drive, letting both of us drive so we could both get a feel for the truck. Levi gave us all the information we needed on the truck, like the engine size and all the features. When we got back Levi told us the price and my wife and I were shocked at how much lower the price was then we expected especially with how low the milage on the truck is. SO once we agreed on the price we waited as the finace manager drew up all the paper work. While we waited Levi gave us a tour of dealership and the service area. He also explained everything that is covered under warranty. After we signed all the finace papers we waited less than an hour and had the license plates, registration and insurance registed. It was a GREAT experience and we would recommend anyone to go to any of the Hall dealerships. More

Internet Sales Team-Best!, financial team - awesome! Even met the man in service/maintenance before we left-Friendly. After a rocky start we met our perfect match in a salesman. I was looking for a Jeep (sold before I got there), that is what drew us to Hall, however Tracy matched me to a Trailblazer, he listened to what I said, what I wanted, and generally made my family and me feel like he was really interested in what I needed. This dealership is super busy! Busy means satisfied customers! I will go back in the future, my son will go back when he is ready to buy a car from Tracy, my husband will go back when he needs a vehicle! That is how comfortable Tracy made us feel, didn't seem about how much he could make it seemed to be about US! (not too common in this economy)! No, I do not live anywhere near this dealership or in the area(3 hours away), glad I made the trip! 2 free oil changes, state inspections for life and the feeling like I wasn't just padding the salesman's pockets-we got what we paid for no doubt about it!
