I bought the car there recently and needed a "benchmark" for future services, so was happy to get these things taken care of. They found a nail in one tire and patched it; also fixed a computer problem that was part of a recall I was not aware of. As soon as I got home the recall notice was found in my mailbox; happy to say it was taken care of and I don't have to go back. Always Finding Something Wrong I previously had my volkswagon Jetta serviced by Southern and every time I took it in they found something wrong or there was some service they recomm I previously had my volkswagon Jetta serviced by Southern and every time I took it in they found something wrong or there was some service they recommended. I now own a Buick and had been going to another dealer for service who I was very pleased with, but they stopped servicing GMC. I went to Southern because of the free oil changes, but once again every time I go they find something wrong with my vehicle. I take care of my vehicle and do recommended services, but I don't really believe all of Southern's recommendations are necessary and will be going elsewhere for service and paying for oil changes. More
