We bought a new car off the showroom floor of Southern Buick GMC in Virginia Beach. We assumed” incorrectly that it would have less than 100 miles on it. It had 870. Yes, we unknowingly signed the “disclosure” about the high miles. That was on us. Where it seems deceitful on the part of the dealership is that the actual mileage was never verbally disclosed. We love the car and the sales agent was helpful; however, the finance department should have done a more thorough job ensuring we understood that this particular vehicle had over 750 miles on it since he had us sign this acknowledgment. We never heard from our sales agent after we bought the car. I understand they are required to do a 4-day follow up…. They missed this, but it wouldn’t have changed the outcome. Just be careful or you too may end up with a dealer demo car or a customer return. More

I am furious with the way Southern Buick Virginia Beach has handled the ongoing repair issue with my grandmother’s vehicle. I’ve spoken with the service manager multiple times, and I’ve made repeated attempts to contact the general manager. To this day, no one has had the professionalism to call me back. The silence and avoidance speak volumes. What makes this situation especially disgusting is that it involves my grandmother—an elderly woman who trusted this dealership to treat her fairly. Instead, she has been strung along, misled, and taken advantage of. To repeatedly tell her a repair is “fixed” when it clearly is not is not just bad business—it’s manipulative and predatory. This dealership has shown a complete lack of honesty, accountability, and respect. If this is how they treat seniors, it should be a warning sign to anyone considering doing business here. More
