I took my car to get an oil change on 29 November. On 13 December ( 2 weeks later) my oil light had come on. I checked my oil level and the oil stick was DRY. I called and let Kia know i was coming in On 13 December ( 2 weeks later) my oil light had come on. I checked my oil level and the oil stick was DRY. I called and let Kia know i was coming in for this issue and i was given an appointment for an hr and a half later. On the way to Kia my engine malfunction light had came on. My car was serviced for the second time and i was told that when they did my oil change they had put a double gasket on my car and my car should only have one gasket. They changed it and filled the car back up with oil. On 29 November i had waited from 1120 until 1pm. I thought they would have been thorough since they seemed to have taken their time. I pray my engine was not damaged to any extent due to this incident. More

The person at the front left the area without even acknowledging me, took about 5 mins for someone else to come. Inside the waiting area, the staff is more interested in gossiping and complaining abou acknowledging me, took about 5 mins for someone else to come. Inside the waiting area, the staff is more interested in gossiping and complaining about their jobs, very loudly, than anything else. I got a smile and a warm greeting and thank you from the lady that checked me out; however, that was after standing in front of her waiting for no less than 3 minutes with zero acknowledgement, while the whole office carried on their personal conversations. The last time I was in, there were several recommendations made for service that I have not had done but this visit, no recommendations when I actually wanted them and was willing to wait and pay. Overall, my service was good for the oil change; however, I was informed by Jacob at the end of my service that my oil change was the last free one since I did not purchase my vehicle at Southern. I'm disappointed as I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I purchased my vehicle at Performance and Perry took over Performance customers. When Perry closed down I was contacted by Southern and given the free oil changes. Again, I have been a regular customer and have bought my other vehicle in for service as well. I'm disappointed that you all are now going to renege on an agreement that YOU put into place many years ago. I have requested that the manager speaks to upper management on my behalf and was promised a call back. I have yet to hear back but I will no longer bring any of my vehicles back to Southern if my free oil changes are in fact revolked. Thank you. More
