We visited the dealership to purchase a BMW X4M Competition. The price advertised was 8k lower than the price. Price gauged and was told by the manager that is how used cars sales work. In the interim test drove the truck, we were waiting to process the financials and had a lease buy out. Came to an agreement then to be lied to by the manager blaming the sales rep for saying he said we needed a buy out first. Then sold it under our noses. Lied to our faces in an oversized blue suit. He also embarrassed the salesman he was mortified. I believe they were using us as an alternative in the event the initial died. Very poor customer service. Wasteful of our time and credit and money was not an issue. They should not be allowed to conduct business in such an unprofessional manner. More
The whole experience felt very scam like to me, not happy with my experience here. Car listed at 8450 on line, sales person told me price would be more if I paid cash, which technically is against federal l with my experience here. Car listed at 8450 on line, sales person told me price would be more if I paid cash, which technically is against federal law.. when it came time to see price, it was 11500, and was explained that the "internet" price included a 2500 bonus for a certain type of trade in, lol, I wasn't trading a car in, was also told that the other 1000 was for financing, which I was willing to do.. got 2 different stories, sales man said I could put 5-6k down, manager told me I had to finanace 9k.. although in NY there is no prepayment penalty, he asked i keep the loan for 90 days.. again not a huge deal to me.. Car was listed on line with 5 accidents and "no damage" but when the Car Fax came out there was a couple minor damage events and a moderate damage event.. Car was missing the Main lighting component in the roof, the whole unit was gone, and the back light in the passenger seating area was also missing.. I felt strongly about going to a Mitsubishi dealer, as I've owned a Galant and my mom had an Eclipse and both times it was a great professional experience.. The sale guy was a little awkward too, he was telling me a story during test drive about bad clients, cursing him out, he actually used the F expletive a few times, which was uncomfortable because my 17 y/o daughter was in the back seat .. looking for her first car.. I wouldn't recommend based off my personal experience, more like a used car lot then a Mitsubishi Dealership. More
