Service review I purchased my first car from South Shore Hyundai. I had my car for a few months, & already I had an issue with it. I took it straight to the dealersh I purchased my first car from South Shore Hyundai. I had my car for a few months, & already I had an issue with it. I took it straight to the dealership, asked to speak to a GM. I was introduced to Dino Karvazoni. I just want to thank Mr.Karvazoni for treating me with so much respect. Also for listening to my complaints. Dino ensured my vehicle was taken care of. Again, thank you so much for helping me, and for changing my perspective. I'm very impressed by Mr.Karvazoni's customer skills. I also want to recognize service manager Jay Strassberg for ensuring everything was done in a timely manner. Thank you so much for all your help! She is able to evaluate and address my concerns; make recommendations to prevent future concern and always displays a positive professional demeanor. I trust her evaluation at this location the most!!! I will reschedule an appointment ( and I did so yesterday- 2/18/15) if she is not on duty to provide service. EPS service bulletin On May 7, 2014 I brought my car in for service because I had a problem with the EPS light, it would come on as I was driving and my car would lose al On May 7, 2014 I brought my car in for service because I had a problem with the EPS light, it would come on as I was driving and my car would lose all power steering, very scary when you are driving on the highway and suddenly you are unable to turn the wheel !! Well, I was lucky enough to have Brandon Troy as my Service Consultant. He was very professional and most importantly very honest. My car was fixed in a little over an hour and a half. I would highly recommend South Shore Hyundai and Brandon Troy is the consultant you should ask for. More
Refuses to address complaints I just purchased a brand new 2013 Hyundai Genesis from Plaza Hyundai in Brooklyn because they simply had the best prices. I went in to the South Shore I just purchased a brand new 2013 Hyundai Genesis from Plaza Hyundai in Brooklyn because they simply had the best prices. I went in to the South Shore Hyundai and asked if they could install the wind deflector that the dealer forgot to install. Car has 100 miles on it. They said they would have to charge me a minimum of $65 to install!. unless it was broken it was not under warranty. the next issue i came in with was that when speaking on the cars bluetooth, nobody could hear me clearly. I spoke with Hyundai USA who advised me that there is definitely an issue with the microphone and that it is not all that uncommon. I brough the car in to South Shore Hyundai and after waiting 45 minutes I was told by Brandon Troy that the technician found nothing wrong. I was very insistent that there was absolutely an issue as no one could hear me. Brandon requested i call him in the dealership. when he had a hard time hearing me he gave the following excuses: (1) I'm in and office with a lot of background noise. (2) you're not speaking loud enough. (3)you're speaking too loud. (4) The Technician found no problem so regardless of what you claim, there is no problem. what appears to be happening is that because i didn't purchase this vehicle thru South Shore Hyundai, they will do everything they can possibly do to not service the vehicle or if they have to, to charge me for it. I am utterly amazed that they would behave in this manner. For Hyundai to Claim "Americas Best Warranty" and then give me the around is unconscionable. More
Excellent customer service I went in with a noise when turning my 2012 Sonata and was greeted by Anthony who was exceptionally helpful from start to finish. They found the problem quickly and was happy to find out it was covered by my warranty. They also found a nail in my tire which saved me the grief of coming out one morning finding my tire was flat. Had the timing belt, 60k service and a stop light switch recall taken care of. I dorpped the car off the previous night and pick up the next night. Was told I needed a $190 battery or the car wouldn't pas recall taken care of. I dorpped the car off the previous night and pick up the next night. Was told I needed a $190 battery or the car wouldn't pass it's next inspection(?) and a set of $390 rear breaks. I paid $1200+ for the service less these two repairs. The next weekend I had to bring back the car since the cruise control no longer worked. I told them they probably screwed up the break switch since I know that is a component of the Cruise Control. After 2.5 hours sitting in the showroom I went to find my car. It was sitting finnished, who knows for how long. Turns out that WRONG part was installed when they replaced the break light switch. No Charge! Just 2.5 hours out of you Saturday. I should have been given a few oile changes at least. BTW - I had the battery and breaks done. $350 total. More

I just had to write a review about the service because I cannot stand a place with bad customer service Representatives. This place is far from that. While I cannot remember everyone I came in contact with but the two mentioned, everyone in the service department are very welcoming. I have no complaints about this service center. Oh and they say please and thank you. More
