Excellent Sales Experience (and Final Price) My wife wanted a crossover vehicle for the driving visibility (hatchback on stilts), and more specifically, a Honda CRV based on recommendations My wife wanted a crossover vehicle for the driving visibility (hatchback on stilts), and more specifically, a Honda CRV based on recommendations of friends and family. I wanted a Honda due to its gold-plated, long-term reliability. Honda's CRV-EXL with Navigation fit the bill. We visited South Pointe Honda in Tulsa, talked with Ken Bosteder, (a very low key, no pressure, knowledgeable salesman) and test drove a CRV-EXL in black (our second choice of colors). One of our concerns with other cars was the driving comfort during long trips, especially with respect the front seats, so we asked Ken if we could take the CRV out on the highway for a couple of hours. Ken set up the longer test drive for us the next day. That night we did some homework on CRV pricing, both with other area Honda dealers as well as Consumers Report and Kelly Blue Book. The next day on our longer test drive, we found that the CRV seats were very comfortable, especially the lumbar support for the driver. We also liked the engine's pep, ease of steering, and overall ride. In short, we were sold - but now for the hard part - price negotiations. As it turned out, Steve Davis, the Sales Manager, met us at the door after our long test drive (Ken was with another customer) and made us an excellent offer with absolutely no haggling. This was partially because South Pointe has an arrangement to meet, or improve on,the "fair price" suggested by Consumer Report. As it turned out, Steve's price was $600 lower than any price that was quoted from our four sources (KBB, Consumer Report and 2 local dealers), and about 12% less than MSRP. All in all, I would rate our car buying experience with South Pointe as the best I have ever had in over 50 years! More

The Way Car Buying Should Be I worked very closely with Steve and Jay in the buying process. Steve worked very diligently and patiently with me as we exchanged emails back and forth to work out the monthly payment, details of what all was included, how leases worked in comparison to a flat out purchase, and he went the extra mile to ensure that when I arrived I would have zero issues whatsoever in financing a car. Jay was incredibly friendly and was able to answer every question we had about the 2016 Accord LX-S that I ultimately leased. Not just my questions, but my fiance's as well. It didn't matter what we threw at him, Jay had an answer or a very honest "I'm not sure, but I'll happily find out". And by that, he meant, I'm going to go find out now because we left the dealership without a single follow up for him. Once we found the perfect car for me, they introduced me to Fabian to handle the finance process - which was very effortless on my part. There was no high pressure sales to purchase any additional coverage. They presented their packages, I told them where I would see the value, and Fabian went a step further to show me what my monthly cost would be if I purchased an add-on coverage. Fabian even went the extra mile to inquire if I had certain memberships or insurance (Sam's/State Farm) to find any possible applicable discount. In short... the service was an example of everything a dealership should do from the time I contacted them to post-sale where Jay has followed up to ensure everything is working well and I'm nothing less than happy with the car. Flawless job, gentlemen. More

The sales person, Charlie Shore, met us on the sidewalk, as we approached the show room, and extended a genuine warm greeting. We were immediately put at ease. We found him to be professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. As a matter of fact, every person we dealt was helpful. I love my new Pilot and recommend South Pointe Honda and its sales and finance staff to anyone who wants a great deal and a pleasant experience. More
