I had searched several dealerships, 3 within 50 miles, and a few others within a 100 mile area. Out of the 3 weeks, I had hit a few hurdles, that was until I pulled up at the South Point Dealership in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The temperature was 15` F that afternoon, and even in icy weather, I had been greeted with a warm welcome immediately after exiting my former vehicle. I had introduced myself, and then explained exactly what it was I had been looking for, but never mentioned make or modle. Then I had been invited inside to have a fair and open discussion in a warm peaceful setting. After just 30 minutes, the dealer had pulled up in the truck I was wanting, and to my suprise, he had done this prior to my mentioning which make or modle I had been seeking, and was only informed of a GMC Sierra which had no longer been available. After a few kind words were exchanged, it had felt as if this was meant to be, and the dealership was willing to offer me an affordable deal, with flexible finance options. Brian D. had even agreed to offer a 2 year warranty or 20k miles, even though this had not been an option in the beginning. Even though I had not asked for this, the dealership had took it upon themselves to work something out for me, which had included the warrenty coverage. I would assume that they had done so as a courteous addition, but I consider this as a jester of good buisness practices. The gentlemen, Brian D, he had been open and compassionate. After having a brief but well-understood talk, I had realized that this dealership is fair, hospitable, honest, and sufficient to the letter. All of these are assets to any sales department, thus Mr. Brian D had earned my respect that evening. This was especially a relief, because even after all of the headaches I dealt with over a two week period, who would have imagined, that even after my continually searching, online, searching from one dealership to the next, that the process had finally reached its peak, whicg is why I was astonished that the one dealership I would finally buy from, would already be set in motion, and this only goes to show that there are some things in life that are simply meant to take place
That said, I believe that everything was supposed to unfold at a set time, and this had given me the closest definition of what most would call, "Fate". Thus everything that had happened would happen, but it was not until we had met that night, even to my suprise, Brian was the right dealer, and he was ready to serve. Believe it or not, this had occurred when the truck I had wanted the most, well, it had already been waiting there, all clean, fully equipped, and ready for me at that perfect window or an opportunity that had beem positioned into time itself. I do kniw, that before that cold and snowy day, that I prior to my meeting the staff at South Point, I would have otherwise never really thought to speak of these things, even in detail. Even though, I know now that we would have met in person regardless of who I thought would meet with me, I had originally went there, asking about this other dealer from across the South Point lot, someone who had, without warning, went and sold this GMC truck overnight, and it all occurred within a 12 hour window. Sadly this had happened, but now I am glad that it did, because even though I made an offer with this other dealer over the phone the night before, the tomorrow I was expecting, it had came with a different outcome, but one in which the best offer would become available to me that day, and it surely did. To make a long story short, I am blessed by God, for being fortunate enough to have Brian D. of South Point Chevrolet in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as my dealer of choice. Honestly, Brian had sold me the truck that I had been looking forward to buying, and for a long while at that. So, I had only hoped to meet such a dealer, and sure enough, it was made a tangible reality, that it would be Brian D. from South Point Chevrolet. This dealership had offered me exactly what I had needed, and for so many reasons, some personal, but for other reasons too, such as pulling our small RV. Either way, I had volunteered to offer this long but honest review today. So, I would hope that this encourages other buyers out there. From my personal experience in purchasing a vehicle, I can honestly say, that with out bias or personal agenda, that this is the one dealership in which I would define as a, "Rare Opportunity". This is why I have every reason to admit that South Point Chevrolet, their business practices intrigue me, as the staff are ruly warm, friendly, fair, and sufficient, even meeting the expectations above and beyond. In my personal opinion, they had went far beyond that which others dealerships had offered me prior to that cold snow filled day. Thus is why I am confident, that South Point Chevrolet in Tulsa, they not only said nice things, but they showed it by the way they conduct sales. This has earned them my respect, and I would recommend this particular location to anyone seeking a fair and affordable deal on several types of used and new vehicles. On a personal note, They had concluded my journey with gratitude, integrity, and with a sence of warmth. What more can I say, except, Brian D. you have done well for yourself! I am truly thankful to God, and to all of you, the friendly and fair staff, all employees for South Point Chevrolet in Tulsa.
You'res truly,
J. L. Bailey, an honest & greatful buyer.
