This is the third Jeep we purchased from Scott Chenoweth at South Oak Dodge. They did not push extras on us. Ryan got us in our brand new car with everything we wanted for exactly what we said we could afford! Jesus (and Mark)were also very attentive to our needs. When we arrived, our car was beautiful and ready to roll! There was one thing that I needed added to my car and they scheduled my service appointment around MY schedule and when I came in the service department was friendly and quick! Scott, another friendly employee, made sure if I needed a loaner I had one so I didn't have to sit around and wait. My husband is looking for a work car and Ryan has continued to service us by watching for a safe and affordable car. They have been in touch with us several times to make sure we are happy and to let us know they are looking for a work car! How many places do you know that will help you out like that?! I will definitely be buying my next car from Ryan and South Oak! If you want a no-hassle place to look or shop, this is your place! This whole experience started the day before I purchased my new car/used car on Wednesday September 26, 2012. The day of Tuesday September 25, 2012 I went over to South Oak to get my oil changed and to get my new car/used car on Wednesday September 26, 2012. The day of Tuesday September 25, 2012 I went over to South Oak to get my oil changed and to get an estimate on how much new tires would cost. I was sitting in the waiting area for the service department to finish with my car; which at the time was a 2002 Chrysler Sebring LXI. Kendall was walking by and he said hello to me and asked me would I like for him to change the channel for me because it was the Poker World Series on the TV. I replied,” No Thank You; I was not really paying attention to the TV because I was out of it and very tired. But, Thank You for asking anyway. ” and he said,” No problem just let me know if you change your mind.” and I said, “I will, thanks again.”He than went back to the sales floor to continue his work for the evening. As I was waiting Kendall came back to the service waiting area to get something for the cashier and at the same time the service personal whom was doing the oil change came in and told me that he does not recommend that I even drive my car home for it was totally failed the safety test that they preformed the during the routine oil change. He said that it would about $3,000.00 worth of repairs to the undercarriage of my car. It was real bad and I wanted to cry. I’m like Jesus I just brought that car a year ago and just paid the car off in February of this year. Kendall came by me and said, “It’s going to be alright go home and get some rest and think about it. If it’s worth it to you go ahead and start the repairs as soon as possible if not you may need to think about getting you another one.” So went home and thought about it and prayed about it; and came up to the solution that it was time to move on with another car. I have children whom are in a lot of activities and I have to drive my clients to/from places they need to go and I also need to be sure I can travel from here to there and have a safe and reliable car to depend on. So the next day which was Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 10am I went over to speak with either Mark or Ray who are sales mangers at South Oak. Kendall saw me when I came in through the doors and after I sat at Ray’s desk and asked him me How I was doing? I said, “Great since I had some rest and I was there to get an estimate on my cars trade in value.” Ray looked up some cars for me at the price range that I was looking for and asked Kendall to show me the 3 cars that he found while he checks on the trade value for my car. After he showed me the 3 cars when back inside to sit at Kendall’s desk to start some paper work. He talked to me like I was human and treated well. We talked about family and where we attended church and had some laughs because I was being silly and telling jokes. He is a very nice guy. This was all during the time while Lisa working her magic and getting me approved for a 2008 Nissan Versa that I absolutely enjoy. Thank You South Oak for all do to put customers first in your business…. I LOOK FORWARD TO DOING BUSINESS WITH YOU GUYS AGAIN IN THE NEARBY FURTURE, NOW I WILL BE A LIFETIME CUSTOMER FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. Thank you again……… More
