One bad thing Everyone at the service center that I spoke to on the phone or in person was very nice and I had no problem with that or the guy who handled getting m Everyone at the service center that I spoke to on the phone or in person was very nice and I had no problem with that or the guy who handled getting me a courtesy vehicle. I needed an oil change and I had a couple of leaks that were covered by my two warranties. I was pretty happy about that. They had to order a part but I got my car back quickly the next day. The big problem I have with them is they told me I needed to have my throttle box cleaned. I couldn't afford it at that time so I didn't get it done. When I got home I looked it up and found that my car was showing no signs of a problem with the throttle box and as a matter of fact several sites said that it usually never has to be serviced unless the car is hesitating when you step on the gas, stalling or the check engine light comes on. They even said that if a repairman says you need it and the car is showing none of those signs, you are probably getting taken. I know that car dealerships have a bad reputation of overcharging and doing work that isn't necessary, and this instance just proved to me that South County Dodge is one of them. That along with the fact that last Fall my battery went bad and I was desperate to get one quickly so I went to this dealership (where I purchased my car) and found out later that I could have gone somewhere else and had the battery installed with a year more of warranty for about $100 less. When my warranty runs out I will probably never go back to this dealership even though I like the service employees just fine. As I said they were very nice and are probably just pressured by their bosses to do more work on the cars than needs to be done. More
