We started our hunting for a new Dodge Durango close to home here in the "The Fox Valley" of WI. We visited our local Dodge dealerships to test drive and check out the vehicle options available and from th home here in the "The Fox Valley" of WI. We visited our local Dodge dealerships to test drive and check out the vehicle options available and from there we compiled a "must have list" for the local dealer we wanted to work with. We were very specific on what we wanted in our new Durango and if we were gonna spend that kind of $$ on a new vehicle, it will have what we want. Long story short it was us and not our local dealer that did all the work to find just the right Durango. Through hours of searching the internet, basically using the Dodge.com website and literally looking at every window sticker of any Durango that could match our needs. We gave provided info to our local dealer and was told they wouldn't be able to get us a car from MO. That is when we contacted your dealership directly via your internet sales dept and made contact with Bruce Striler. Bruce was very helpful in answering all our questions via e-mail & phone. We knew the Durango we contacted him about was the one that fit our needs and we also knew that we wanted a couple accessories added, which Bruce made sure they could have done as well. Bruce got us a total price on vehicle and even though it seem like a very fair price we were still pushing for yet a better price to help offset what it would cost for us to get to MO and purchase this vehicle. After sitting on this for about a month and still not finding anything close to home, we checked website again and the Durango we wanted was still avail at South County Dodge so we contacted Bruce again to see if they would be will to come down anymore on the price. They were holding firm which we feel told us that we were really getting the best price possible. Bruce handed us over to Ken Duckworth and we started working out the details from there. Kenny helped with everything from pointing us to a Airline that might have the best price to suggesting a nice safe place to stay for a night since we planned on traveling on a Sunday to MO so we could be at dealership bright and early on Monday morning. Kenny kept in constant communication with us every step of the way from our travel begining from WI to getting on a plane and arriving in MO then travel to our hotel. Kenny even picked us up and drove us to dealership Monday morning. He also stayed in contact after we left dealership and were traveling back to WI. We feel Kenny really went above and beyond to make sure this whole transaction went as smooth as possible. He was in contact with us every step of the way, he made sure our Durango had the accessories installed and all ready for us to get in and drive it home. More

first contacted dealer online service (Bruce), he responded right away with my request, kept me updated, and was flexable on allowing me when to drive down to dealership. Met with Bruce upon arrival and he indroduced me right away to Jose Pintor. The van was ready parked outside for me to look at and to test drive. Jose was very knowledgable about the vehicle, very friendly, made sure I understood features on the vehicle. Once I had no more questions about the vehicle, we moved inside, to continue the process.Again Jose explained every next step to us and we moved on smoothly. Once agreed on the cost of the vehicle, the financing process was simple and easy. Overall a very pleasant experience for me and my wife. Mr. Joe Smith did not pressure me into buying the car, he didn't haggle, promise or harrast me into buying the car. He was very professional and personnal thru out the sale. I had no intention of buying the car when I arrived. I had another appointment to see another car, but like the car and the sales person I decieded to buy the car. The Finance person Dan Sullivan was very proficient about the whole transaction. I belive he went out of his way to obtain the best financial deal for me. He was also very friendly and professional. Mr Doug Darr was courtious and professional. My experience when buying a new or used car the manager is somehow the bad guy, that the salesperson has to run too for approval. Not so in this case. He even came out to the car as we were leaving to Thank us for the purchase. Now when has a Manager done that at any car lot. Purchasing a new 2013 Dodge RAM truck from South County Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram was a great experience. Here's why: My husband and I were in the market to purchase a new crew cab pickup truck. I have never purchased any kind of new vehicle before, much less a truck, and my husband hadn't owned a truck in 15 years. We are slow, methodical, and research oriented decision makers. New vehicles are a significant financial investment and it's not a decision we were willing to make in one trip. We are probably a sales persons least favorite client - we ask lots of questions, we take our time, we come back multiple times, we are straight forward and direct about our purchase timeline and price expectations and we don't tolerate schmooz. In the end, it's our happiness that matters and it's our truck. Our search process took 5 weeks. We investigated 6 manufacturers, test drove a total of 17 trucks, met 10 sales-persons, and visited 8 dealerships. And yes, we had comparison spreadsheets going at home to see how features, functionality, etc. were shaking out between our 3 finalists (Ford F-150, GMC Sierra, RAM). We gave each sales person/dealership the exact same information, asked very similar questions of each regarding the trucks and began to narrow down our options. In the end, we purchased the RAM because it was the best truck that afforded the best value/cost ratio. And as far as what the 2013 RAM brings to the table compared to the 2013 Ford and 2013 GMC, it blows them away. My husband is GMC loyal and was saddened that GMC did not come out on top, but ultimately all of the research we did was hard to ignore in the end. For any females out there looking for a truck - this truck is actually my primary vehicle, not my husband's. So, we went through our whole search process with that in mind. :-) As far as sales-people and dealerships, Adam Zeveski and South County Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram (SCDCJR) came out on top, far above all of their competition. SCDCJR was one of the first dealerships we visited in our process and we weren't even planning on looking at RAM initially. We stopped in just to use RAM as a comparison for the trucks we were really interested in - Ford, GMC, and Chevy. We didn't foresee at the time that we would be amazed by the truck, the sales person, and the dealer and end up going home with a Ram. The dealership is very professional, yet has an easy going approach. On a whole, they are not "in your face" and not high pressured sales. They understand that you are making a significant financial decision and are there to lay out the information for you and help you through the process. They did not accost us when we entered, but provided prompt and helpful service. They are just a nice, friendly dealership that has a great vibe. They made our truck buying process stress-free, hassle-free, and actually fun! The had a great inventory of trucks to choose from, competitive pricing (the lowest pricing we found), and were actually open on a few "monday holidays" (thank you!). The floor manager, Gary Riggs, took time to greet us and provide additional information to us each time we came in; we didn't have this level of service or personal contact at any other dealership we visited. Lastly, they don't play "games" on their pricing. They don't like to haggle and they don't believe in giving you a higher quote on the first round because they think you're a sucker. They give you the best price they can right from the beginning. We were skeptical of this at first, but after all our research we found this truly was the case. The first price they quoted us was a good, bottom line competitive price and it was one that Ford and GMC couldn't get close to beating. Adam Zeveski stuck with us the entire way through our 5 weeks of searching. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, attentive, and never pushy or "salesy" He is one of the primary reasons we kept going back to SCDCJR. We let him know up front that we were just beginning our search process, would be looking at other dealers/manufacturers, and would be making a decision in 4 weeks. He took it all in stride, never pressured us to make a decision faster, and proactively gave us information that we could take with us and use as we looked at other trucks. The first day we visited SCDCJR, we test drove 3 trucks and at the end of our time, Adam gave us a price quote on one of them just so we could have the information as we continued our search. 4 weeks later, when we came back to purchase a RAM, this was the price we paid and we knew by then it was a fair, competitive price to pay. All told, we visited SCDCJR 4 times and spent 2-4 hours with Adam each time. He was always happy to see us, always willing to help, never tried to sell us something that we weren't interested in, and never questioned our research-decision making process. Overall, Adam and SCDCJR was a great truck buying experience. Since this was my first new vehicle purchase, the bar has been set very high for future dealerships and purchases. We highly recommend this dealership and Adam for at least a quick stop-in during your new truck search. Who knows - you may be surprised too when you drive away in one of their trucks. More
Joe was great. I went car shopping with my son who had never purchased a car before. He had always had family hand me downs. He was just interested in helping us find the right car for Nick. The finance manager was great as well. Nick had no credit and I have good credit but no employment but have a monthly fixed income. The finance manager worked to get great rate for Nick with me as cosigner and the navy Federal Credit Union, my son in active military, could not come anywhere close to meeting the rate. I would highly recommend you to go to South County Dodge and work with Joe Smith and their finance manager if you want an easy going professional salesperson, a competitive price, no haggling and a finance manager who will work with you. More
