Out Of This World Spectacular My wife and I headed out to South County Dodge dealership on 09-02-16. I wasn't hopeful and definitely wasn't excited. 2016 has been a horrible year thus far. We went from having 5 vehicles (2 F-250 2001 & 2004 one crew cab and one 4wd, a 1979 FORD PICKUP, a 2001 Ford Contour and a 1995 FORD F150 crew cab 4wd) to having none, to having 1 and not 1 of the 5 we started the year with. Our only working vehicle, reliable vehicle is $400 F150 pickup that a very kind young man sold to us after reading a post on FB that our daughter had made about ALL the crap we have going through. 3 of our vehicles had blown motor's (courtesy of a 19-year-old and a 22-year-old) and 2 lost transmissions (1 just went out the other had help by a 19-year-old taking it off roading, doing burn outs, torque stops etc). After weeks/months (from January 20th-September 2nd) of non-stop repairs, not having a vehicle, getting this fixed and that breaking, paying everyone and their brother to run us to work, school, doctors, store etc. We couldn't take it any longer, my wife who is disabled had missed Dr appointments, there were times that grandson couldn't get to school because bus doesn't run and times we couldn't get to store for necessities. We live in the country, 20 MINUTES ONE WAY FROM EVERYTHING, so nothing is really convenient. Any and EVERY TIME we needed to go someplace, we would reach out to family and/or friends for a ride, to work, to the store, to the doctor, to anywhere that it was necessary for us to be and it was ALWAYS a minimum of $20. If we needed to go anywhere beyond the closest town, the cost went up to $30, $40+ Some days we would have to be 3 places, I would have to be at work, wife would have a Dr appointment and Daughter would have to work, 3 places, 3 rides $60 for 1 day. That happened often. I am NO mechanic so all these repairs were just a guessing game. Talk to this person fix this. Talk to this person fix that. Read this fix that, never ending. Never fixed. Finally 3 vehicles went to junk yard, 1 got sold to an individual an the other still sits in my driveway. Plus we still have our only running $400 vehicle. My wife is disabled and I am just a man. Just a hard working, blue collar family man. Been doing my best. Own everything I have. Have no credit, but the credit I've had is BAD. Had a bad car note in 2012 after missing quite a bit of work to care for my wife who was quite sick and had 3 back surgeries. So on 09-02-2016 when we headed into South County Dodge dealership I wasn't hopeful or excited. Actually, I was hesitant and honestly a little pissed that my wife had me doing this again. It wasn't that we couldn't afford a payment, but we had no down payment (no money at all to put down, couldn't even write a check for them to hold as a good faith down payment). No credit (except bad credit). No co-signer. My bank isn't a local bank. I bank through a pre-paid cc company. I don't even have a cc. Not even a gas card. All I had going for me was that I had a good job, I have job security (been on my job over 10 years) and I have direct deposit (through my pre-paid cc company). What am I doing? Why am I doing this? I've been down this road. I ALREADY KNOW HOW THIS IS GOING TO GO. I ALREADY KNOW THE OUTCOME. I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. ... Every Salesman ALWAYS talks to me like I'm beneath them. They run my credit and treat me like I'm xxxx. They treat me as if I am the only person to have horrible credit. Like they've never seen anyone with flawed credit, or with a credit score of 409 (mine is a bit better). Then without knowing anything about ME, anything about my Circumstances, my Situation, THE SALESMAN PASSES JUDGEMENT UPON ME and treats me like I am a Undeserving, Lazy, xxx, who hasn't ever worked, hasn't ever paid my bills, who lives off the government or others and therefor I do not deserve a new or gently used vehicle and I am immediately dismissed. Then the day ALWAYS ENDS THE SAME WAY. AFTER SPENDING THE DAY WITH A SALESMAN AND AFTER HAVING THAT SALESMAN SPEAK DOWN TO ME AND TREAT ME HORRIBLY BASED OFF MY CREDIT SCORE, THE SALESMAN AND I ALWAYS HAVE WORDS. I ALWAYS LEAVE WITHOUT A VEHICLE (NO SURPRISE THERE) AND LEAVE MORE PISSED THAN I WAS BEFORE DEALING WITH THIS SALESMAN WHO WAS THERE TO "HELP ME". THEN TO MAKE MY DAY BETTER, MY WIFE AND I WILL HAVE WORDS AND THEN I WILL HAVE A BEER OR 6 AND SHE WILL BE SAD, UPSET AND THINK I'M AN xxxxxxx. So as we drive into South County Dodge I continue asking WHY. ...... We arrive at dealership, an hour late, wife and I already feuding before we pull inot parking lot. We meet our Salesman Nick. Right away I am given paperwork and started on paperwork and then bombarded with questions at same time. Of course my wife would normally be present to help but since we were feuding, she decided to take an extra long bathroom break (which she blamed on our 4 y.o. grandson). I filled out paperwork, Nick turned it into finance manager Steve and wife finally decided to join us. We talked briefly about what we were looking for and wife made it very clear our situation. Stating, we had no money at all to put down. That I was going on application alone as my wife was on disability and couldn't own anything because it could affect her disability, that my credit is anything but good, as a matter of fact it's POOR. She told Nick, we didn't care if we ended up with a jalopy. As long as it ran. She explained to Nick all about our vehicle issues since January 20th 2016. Nick listened intently and just replied "I've been doing this 16 years. I've seen it all. Just be patient, give me the opportunity to see what I can do for you, what we can do for you. I am in the business of helping people re-build their lives, start over, start fresh, start again. So PLEASE give me the chance, let me just have the opportunity to try to help you. Of course I've heard this all before but Nick while his words have been said before, the way he spoke was very genuine. He spoke with heart and conviction. So my wife, grandson and I sat there talking with Nick. About himself, his wife, his daughters, our children (although they're grown) and our grandson (who wad there and very much present). Not long after, Nick got pulled away, my wife decided she needed to eat and she is hypoglycemic so there is no waiting. So while Nick was pulled away, we stepped out, went across street to eat. As we pulled in to parking lot to eat, Nick called to check on us concerned we left. We explained my wife had to eat and he was very understanding. We returned about 45 minutes later and Nick had pulled a car up for us to test drive. A 2016 Chrysler 200 with 3 miles on it. I drove it, my wife didn't want to. We returned to lot and honestly we BOTH were just ready to take our grandson and go home. As we walked back inside Nick asked us "so what did you think" my response "it was nice". Nick said "I hope so, that one is yours". Just like that we were buying a BRAND NEW 2016 Car. We were excited about the possibility of buying a jalopy. I can't put into words the feelings one feels when you go from a jalopy to a BRAND NEW CAR. When we met with Steve the Finance guy. He was just as Kind, Honest and Humble. Not 1 time during this expetirnce did ANYONE speak to me or my wife in the "typical" car salesman way, nor did they treat us in the "typical" car salesman way. We were not spoken down to, degraded, demeaned, belittled, berated. Made to feel small in any way. Nick, Steve and their entire staff made my wife, grandson and I feel like we were royalty. Like we were buying the most expensive car on lot. Like our credit score was so high that we could have bought any car on lot. We were treated with respect, kindness, dignity, humbleness, discreetness, care, concern, compassion and genuineness. We will go back for all future purchases. THANK YOU NICK! More

Treated rudely and problem not fixed! Sad to say that the same customer service in the sales department isn't applied in the service department.I had sunroof issues and was told that it wo Sad to say that the same customer service in the sales department isn't applied in the service department.I had sunroof issues and was told that it works fine when picked up the 2nd time in, and that if I were to complain, (which I did) about hearing glass noise in the tracks, then they would have to pull my headliner down to get it fully clean. This was an insurance claim that initially was misdiagnosed by the technician as to the amount of time involved in cleaning up all the broken glass. I did have problems. Sure the glass replaced worked fine, however the shade made a crunching noise while retracting (glass in the tracks). So I guess when I brought my vehicle in for a sunroof explosion and was told by the assistant manager that it is a problem the service department handles, really meant that they could replace the glass, however if it doesn't work properly, then it's more money and they do NOT guarantee their work. Sure would have been nice to have the job done correctly the first time!!! Here's some news: When glass explodes it gets in crevices that then would not allow the mechanics to work properly. Wouldn't you think that cleaning out the broken glass should be included in the initial estimate? The manager and service writer are under the belief the broken glass that remains is coming out of the headliner. This isn't possible since I did not even drive the car the 3rd time left. Also, not possible with the law of gravity in the movement of the car. Let me say once more, "The sunroof NEVER performed properly after the work was finished." When expressing my disappointment, not to mention the inconvenience of bringing it in 3 times, I was told that the reason the job wasn't done correctly the first time was because the insurance only allowed a certain amount of labor time for the job. There was NO getting the manager OR service writer to see how poorly the job had been completed. In fact there was NO customer service. I was told that if we had their facility completed the "thorough" clean-up needed, they would provide me a rental car. I will have another facility complete the work, but thank you. I will not spend another penny of my money with this company! Especially when I'm asked by the service writer, "Why am I making this so difficult for THEM?!!" I also will make sure everyone I come across hears of this as well. My husband and I own a business with high customer service expectations. I am very disappointed in the way the work was performed as well as the treatment received when this was expressed. I was not looking for something for nothing, just an honest answer to what happened and little compassion for work done so poorly. Not lying to cover it up. More

PLEASE, PLEASE beware. that's all i can say More
