My car needed additional services beside a simple tire rotation and John called me and provided me with a complete list as to what needed to be done along with the cost breakdown. Overall, I was very happy with the service I received and would not visit another Toyota dealership for service - only South Coast. More

Service Teviee Had a great service experience. Ray was my service rep. Asked what service my car was in for. Reviewed my last service records which had recommended Had a great service experience. Ray was my service rep. Asked what service my car was in for. Reviewed my last service records which had recommended several items. Went with what I felt was necessary and was told it would be several hours. Told Ray I would leave and to let me know when it was ready for pickup. Ray called a few hours later to say the engine had a small oil leak. He also said I had an extended service policy which would cover the repair. I said to have it fixed and Ray said he would need the car for another day . Told him that was fine and to call me when it was ready for pickup He called mid day the following day saying I could come pick up the car More

Battery warranty not honored Went in on May 26th 2017 to have my Tundra looked at because the battery kept needing a jump. I had the alt replaced back in late November of 2016 and Went in on May 26th 2017 to have my Tundra looked at because the battery kept needing a jump. I had the alt replaced back in late November of 2016 and the battery was replaced in June of 2015. Both were serviced by another dealership (Toyota of HB, where I purchased the Tundra in 2006 and have since purchased a 2014 Highlander for my wife and a 2016 Tacoma for my son). I spoke with the Service assistant manager, Tom, and told him that I purchased a new battery back in June of 2013. After, he says that they will look at it and call me if there's anything other than the battery. Long story short, the battery failed their test and is supposed to be replaced since its under the two year warranty guidelines. Tom informed me that I need to purchase a new one and that he'll take off 25%. I then show him the original receipt for the purchased battery and he says that it does not apply since it was "serviced". After we went back and forth I told him to bring my truck up and I'll go back to Toyota of HB where I know they'll provide SERVICE. Called and asked to speak with the manager but never got a call back. I will never go there again and will tell as many people as possible about their horrible service. More
