My husband and I both think South Bay Toyota is the best car dealership we've ever dealt with -- and we checked out a dozen or so places before we settled on them. Patrick Peters was absolutely phenomenal when we bought our two cars through him. He talked to us honestly and fairly, and there was none of the misogynistic nonsense that so often crops up when a woman buys a car in LA. We'll be buying another car soon, and we wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Since we bought, back in 2005-6, we have had all our service work done there, and the service department (Dwayne & Harold are who we've dealt with) has been equally terrific. If I could give them 10 stars, I'd do it. A great place, especially if you're a woman looking to buy a car. More

I took my 2009 Corolla for oil change on 10/5/2013 at 11:11 A.M. I was waiting till 2:05 P.M and the service was not even started because the job is the least important for the Adv. I asked before taking the car if I can schedule an appointment and was told that first come first serve. Mr. Bermudez was very rude and pulled the car from the service area without starting the job. He refused to provide me with his Manager information, so I got it from another person. Mr. Bermudez gave me multiple service recommendation on a previous visit that cost over a thousand dollar and another service station checked everything and found out that nothing is required. More
Very pushy. Wasn't really looking to buy, but wanted to see their lineup. They kept insisting and pushing me. They gave me some decent prices and wanted me to buy now. After declining their offer, the salesman got upset, said "Have a nice day" and walked away. How about offering your business card instead of being immature? The job was done quickly and the customer service was friendly and efficient. This facility truly focuses on the customer: from their comfortable lounge, to the free coffee, water & donuts (sometimes even fresh fruit), to their capable Service Representatives, having your vehicle ma comfortable lounge, to the free coffee, water & donuts (sometimes even fresh fruit), to their capable Service Representatives, having your vehicle maintained at this dealership isn't as painful as another dealership I go to for a different-brand car. Toyota had an ad for a specific car. I called them, they checked my credict score, and they told me they would honor the deal. They said they had the exact car I wanted. This dealer quoted me a price by email for a very specific vehicle. When I showed up at the dealership, they told me that they do not have that vehicle, but will check if they can get it. After checking in their computer system they told me that this vehicle is not available anywhere within 400 miles. I went to another dealer (Manhattan Beach Toyota) the next day. They got the vehicle and gave me a good price. Obviously, South Bay Toyota was lying to me. AVOID THEM! More
