I have purchased three cars from sound ford in last 10 years. I am loyal customer and will NEVER buy again from them , they are fraud and they lying and advertise the car that they do not have or not wil years. We were called by Ben after we were looking for a car. He called us to come over to look at a car, so we did. When we walked into the store we talked to him about the car he found for us. We wanted to see the car so when we asked Ben to show us the car and he told us that the car was somewhere on the lot and that we can go look at them if we wanted too. He didn't even bother to walk out with us. He then left us standing there when his cell phone rang. We stood there for a few minutes. Ben only got off the phone when the manager came over to ask us if we were help. We found it very rude that He wouldn't walk us out to see the cars. We had to find them ourselves. More
The guys I dealt with were a couple of lying, shady, high pressure car salesman. The first thing they did when we walked in was ask for my car keys to "evaluate my trade in". I knew what they were up to, b pressure car salesman. The first thing they did when we walked in was ask for my car keys to "evaluate my trade in". I knew what they were up to, but they wouldn't give me back my keys when I asked for them an hour later. It took almost 15 minutes. I almost threatened to call 911. I caught them in several lies, they used high pressure sales tactics, and they priced a truck to me for $55K, but I ended up buying that exact truck from Ford of Kirkland for $36K. That's a $19K difference!!! To top it off, both the sales guys kept trying to "punch it" and "feel the power" in a new ecoboost truck. We were on a side streets (35 MPH zone) and one of the sales guys said, "There's no cops around here, you can go as fast as you want". Who wants to buy something that has been treated that way? I've bought many cars in the last 20 years, and these guys were some of the worst. Scam artists, ripoff, sleazy, abusive to the cars, these are some of the things that come to mind when I think about these guys. More
We were contacted by Sound Ford telling us they were interested in our used truck we had for sale on Craigslist. If it was in as good of condition as we stated, they "had a buyer ready and could cut us interested in our used truck we had for sale on Craigslist. After inspecting our vehicle, they agreed that it was in really good condition with low miles and then proceeded to give us a low-ball offer for less than half of our asking price. What a waste of our time & gas. I am furious and will never deal with Renton Sound Ford Used/Certified Dealership ever again. What a joke. More

Typical. Then pulled attitude with me and still expected me to buy a car from him? Right. Managers just let it happen, right behind him all the way. First I will say that I live out of state and found Sound Ford on the Internet so most of my communication was done over the phone and/or by email. Since the price I negotiated was very good I was concerned I would be faced with a bait and switch routine once I arrived. Not so! To my surprise the vehicle was as described and the terms of the deal were not altered in any way. I found the staff to be friendly, not pushy and overall my new car buying experience was pleasant. I got the car I wanted at the price I wanted and the financing I wanted. It's all good in my book. More
I have never been treated so poorly by a dealership in my life! I called and spoke to Shawn, one of the managers in the service department prior to going in for my scheduled appointment. She told me that there would be no charge for the service that I needed. I took my car in and 7 hours later after not receiving a phone call with an update or quote, I called to check on my car. I was told that not only had they looked at the item that I needed looked at in the front seat, they had ran a full diagnostic check, that I did not approve for them to do. When I arrived to pick up my car, she charged me more than $82.00 for a diagnostic check that I did not request and said that they recommended over $1,100 in needed repairs. Shawn agreed that she told me that there would not be a charge and said to me "Don't worry GIRLFRIEND I will get you out of here without paying. I asked her if she calls all of her customers Girlfriend and that I was not her girlfiend! She kept speaking to me in an un-business like manner. I will be writing her boss and Mr. Ford himself. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO SOUND FORD OF RENTON!!! More

Beware the bait and switch. They are much more interested in selling you the car they want to sell rather than what you actually want. I have noticed they keep 3 or 4 cars on Autotrader that are strangely un in selling you the car they want to sell rather than what you actually want. I have noticed they keep 3 or 4 cars on Autotrader that are strangely under priced while the rest are over priced. It is just to get you on the lot. The sad thing is Ian the salesman really was a nice enough guy but the bait and switch is to much to put up with. Wasted too much time on these guys but got the truck I was looking for at another dealer. There are plenty of other good dealers out there. Good Chevy across the street for instance, too bad they didn't have what I wanted. More
