Absolutely horrible experience at Sound Ford in Renton. Right off the bat, their manager tried offering me only $30,000 for my vehicle. It immediately felt disrespectful and insulting. What made it worse was the attitude throughout the entire interaction. The manager came across as condescending and dismissive, constantly trying to justify the lowball offer with questionable statements about my car’s value while also claiming the Ford Lightning wouldn’t depreciate badly because it was discontinued. The whole conversation felt more like being talked down to instead of being treated like a serious buyer. After leaving frustrated, I went directly to Bowen Ford, and the difference in customer service was night and day. They immediately valued my trade-in at $43,000 with no games, no disrespect, and no unnecessary negotiation. It showed they actually understood the market and respected that I knew the value of my vehicle. I ended up buying my Ford Lightning from Bowen Ford, and I’ll gladly continue giving them my business moving forward. Sound Ford completely lost a customer because of their poor attitude, lowball tactics, and lack of professionalism. More

I asked for a new truck they said NO that they had to buy it back and they sent me a buyback contract the next day 24 hours later, now I'm seeking legal council and all of a sudden they want to give me a new truck per general manager. After signing the bill of sale they will ask you to sign a new one reducing your initial credit and increasing the trade in value. Seems harmless right? Until they give you some xx about why they can't accept the trade in and strong arm you into paying for whatever inflated price they decided your trade in was worth. If you disagree then they threaten to take you to collections even if you had a deal, paid in cash, and turned over the trade in FOR A MONTH with the signed bill of sale for the trade in in their possession. I called Sound Ford to confirm the sale price on their website, before I decide to come in and make a purchase on the vehicle I wanted. If you want it, come in and we can discuss price”. I told home I just wanted to confirm their site price to make sure it was accurate before I came in and bought it, yet he still refused. Very awkward, shady and very bad sales/customer service. I just hung up and will refuse to ever go there. Sounds like a tactic to raise the price when someone shows up, after you’ve waisted your own time/gas to get there. I’ve never experienced this with a dealership…. If you’re reading this review today just go to their pricing online, call to confirm and you’ll see what I mean. They also seem to be showing inaccurate low pricing on car gurus/carfax.
