Big Red Sports/Imports is one of the few dealerships left in the world that actually care about their customers. I recently brought my Kia Sorento to have the oil changed and wa surprised at how well I was treated. Instead of having to wait, they had their shuttle take me to the local mall where I shopped for a few hours and then had them pick me up. To my surprise, they not only shanged the oil but they also gave me a free car wash and vacuum. The service advisor, Theresa Moody, from the start to finish, did everything to make my visit pleasant. Need work done on your car, call them. More
The Service Department at Big Red Sports and Imports in Norman is absolutely awful. I've brought my KIA Sportage there for service 5 times in the last 10 months and 4 out of those 5 times the service was a Norman is absolutely awful. I've brought my KIA Sportage there for service 5 times in the last 10 months and 4 out of those 5 times the service was awful. First, for a tune up they put the wrong kind of spark plugs in for my model. This caused my car to stop running in Denton, TX where I was forced to have it towed to a local KIA dealer and stay overnight. It was the local KIA dealer who informed me the wrong plugs were in my car. Second, in replacing a clutch, the shop took 12 working days to complete the work. Third, as part of preventative maintainance, I had the timing belt replaced. This was adjusted incorrectly causing me to return the car leave it overnight to fix it. After picking it up and driving home, I looked under the hood and discovered they left the manifold cover off. Returning it yet again to leave it overnight a third time, I was informed they could not find my manifold cover and were forced to put a different cover on. Finally, I left my car there recently to have a catalytic converter replaced. That was on a Saturday and I was told it would take 4-5 days to get the part. On the following Friday I called around 1:00 p.m. and was told they were working on the car as we spoke and they would call me when it was ready. They never called so around 5:00 p.m. I called again and was told it wasn't ready and was told they weren't sure when it would be and they would call back - they never did. Calling them back I was informed it wouldn't be ready until Monday - a total of 7 work days to replace one part. We went by the muffler shop where they told us they had outsorced the work and discovered they hadn't even delivered our car there until Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. so they deliverd a bold faced lie when on Friday they clained to be working on it. These continuing poor experiences with Big Red Service Dept are partly my fault for continuing to take my car there for service. I can assure all who read this that I will never again use the Service Department at Big Red Sports and Imports. More
This the 2 or 3rd visit to the service for routine maintenance. Each time I left with a bad taste in my mouth because the people at the service desk gave the impression they did not care for my busin maintenance. Approximately 1 month ago I contacted Big Red about a Blue 2008 Nissan Rogue listed on their website. At that time I was told that it was sold. Last Thursday I saw it was still on their website and I a Blue 2008 Nissan Rogue listed on their website. At that time I was told that it was sold. Last Thursday I saw it was still on their website and I again contacted Big Red to verify that the vehicle was sold, at that time I spoke with the salesman named Shy. He stated it was still there and that he would get more information on it and call me back. When Shy called me back the only thing he would tell me was that it was still there. I constantly repeated myself stating I was only interested in the Blue 2008 Nissan Rogue, knowing that there was a tan 2009 Nissan Rogue on the lot. He confirmed it was still there. When I asked if I could confirm the stock number he stated that he didn't have that information on him but if I was talking about the 2008 Nissan Rogue then he was looking out the window at it right then. I explained to him that I lived in a different town and would be willing to drive up to Norman if it was there and he told me to come on down. My husband, our 18 month old and I (which I'm currently 6 1/2 months pregnant) drove to Norman to look at this vehicle. My father even left work early to drive to Norman to help us with the purchasing process. When we arrived to Big Red Shy was helping another customer, so we decided to go ahead and search the lot for the vehicle. We were unable to locate it. When Shy was able to help us, we gave him the printout of the Blue 2008 Nissan Rogue and he stated that it was on the other side of the lot. As we walk over there he points out the Tan 2009 Nissan Rogue and acts shocked (not very good acting) that we were discussing a different vehicle on the phone. He asked if I would be interested in that vehicle to which my husband stated that I did not like that color. Shy then stated, "what you can't be colorblind if I make a good deal". I explained to him that I knew I was very specific over the telephone and even requested to verify the stock number, to which he wouldn't. Shy continued to deny lying to me so we decided to leave. My father went in and spoke with the Financing Manager and explained the situation. He explained that he had previously bought 4 vehicles from them and I had 1 and had never had such poor service before. Due to the vehicle being listed on the website for over a month and not being there and also being blatantly lied to, I will not car shop at Big Red Sports and Imports in Norman again. More
I just wanted to say that I had a wonderful experience recently with Big Red Sports/Imports. The salesperson we dealt with, Cody Wilson, was a perfect gentlemen and the sales manager, Scott Trumbo, was v recently with Big Red Sports/Imports. The salesperson we dealt with, Cody Wilson, was a perfect gentlemen and the sales manager, Scott Trumbo, was very upfront with the numbers and what they could and could not do. I absolutely adore the little Sorento they sold me. The financing was easy and painless and I felt I received a very fair rate – 2.9%. They introduced me to a very friendly service department and went over every detail of the vehicle. I could not have asked for a better way to buy a car and I plan on seeing them again soon for the maintenance on my vehicle. Believe me, its worth the drive. - Kim More
Worst customer service after the sale I have ever experienced. With an agreement a creased dent would be repaired correctly after the sale, because they had "just got" the used car that we bought. experienced. With an agreement a creased dent would be repaired correctly after the sale, because they had "just got" the used car that we bought. Door trim was damaged during the 1st of a two day process (over a two week span, I had to drive 2 hours one way two different days for them to work on), at the end of day two they decided to tell me that the trim was like that before they worked on it and they weren't going to put any more money it this car. It was not like that, guess I should have taken before and after pics, but seriously can you not trust anyone to do anything right these days!!! Left me standing in the lobby all by myself with glue all over the car and trim from them trying to repair it. On top of everything else, I never, even before all of this, felt like I was being taken care of. I probably talked to their receptionist 5 times in one day when calling and every time she had to ask what I was calling about. Same thing with the service department when trying to get an answer of when my car would be done. Both days there I was the one calling to check on it, never getting updates or progress of when it might be done unless I was calling. My husband cussed them, not that it did any good. My husband and I had to take it to a local body shop to get the damage they caused fixed. Basically had to pay for their mistake. Or I guess my mistake for trusting someone to do something right. And now it has been a month since the sale, I still haven't received my financing information or a copy of the title, in order to get my state tag, and the temporary is due tomorrow! They said they are going to overnight me another temporary for the day after my existing one expires. But we will see... I called first thing this morning and talked to their finance guy about this him saying oh yeah I will call you right back. Noon... nothing I call again his response that he hadn't heard yet and would call me. After 5 still nothing. I call and tell him my name again, and he says I am sorry you will have to remind me I don't remember talking to you. That makes me feel reeeeaaaaallllyyy taken care of! I can't wait until this is resolved and I never have to talk to them again. Don't buy a car there if you want a good experience. More
Friendly and curteous. These guys offered me water, coffee, or soda at every corner and opened every door. Funny group of guys. The time flew and they sold me a nice 06 Wrangler. Finance beat my rate coffee, or soda at every corner and opened every door. Funny group of guys. The time flew and they sold me a nice 06 Wrangler. Finance beat my rate by half a point and saved me even more money. I highly recommend them. More
We went into Big Red Sports & Imports to purchase a car after wrecking mine. The entire dealership was incredibly welcoming and friendly towards us. They were quick to bring up cars in my price range and v after wrecking mine. The entire dealership was incredibly welcoming and friendly towards us. They were quick to bring up cars in my price range and very patient and understanding through the entire process. They worked very hard to get us a car that day, knowing we had a time limit to purchase one. While we waited on the paperwork to process and the car to be serviced, they even washed my father's truck as well. It was one of the easiest and smoothest experiences we've had shopping for a car. Not only will we service the car at the dealership from now on, but we will be sure to recommend everyone to purchase from Big Red Sports & Imports. More
