In October 2011, my husband called Big Red about a car he saw on the internet. He told me to go look at it since I was the one buying it. My first time buying a car without his help. I got there and asked saw on the internet. He told me to go look at it since I was the one buying it. My first time buying a car without his help. I got there and asked to speak with the internet person, as she told my husband to just ask for her... of course she was busy so pawned me off on this salesman. I never did see her... the salesman was pushy, I hated the car that I went to look at, and saw another one (nissan altima) that I liked so I test drove it. I asked him how much it was and he asked several times how much I wanted my payment to be. My husband told me ahead of time not to answer that question and told me the bottom line price of the car. I never got a straight answer, he then proceeded to ask me for my car keys so that they could test drive my car and give me a price for mine. When I handed him my keys he took that key off of the ring, when I asked him why he did that he said he'd put it back if I didn't buy the car. On three different occassions I asked for my key back and he flattly refused. He pushed and pushed for me to buy the Nissan, after 4 hours I wanted to leave so bad I broke... I started signing papers 5 mins before my husband showed up. The finance guy added stuff on the paperwork when all that I wanted was GAP insurance. The next day the finance guy called me, they had screwed something up on the paperwork and I needed to resign the papers. I told him without a check for the 2nd key(they cost over $200) that I wasn't signing anything. After an hour I finally got the check and signed the papers. (The salesman promised me two keys but only produced one) I told them I didn't feel comfortable signing the papers without looking the car over (by this time it was dark) he told me to look it over the next day and bring it back if I found anything wrong with it. He told me there was a 3 day buyers remorse. I left and came back a day later because my paint was bubbled and peeling on my bumper. They agreed to paint it, so I brought it back and when I picked it up I had overspray all over my lights and hood. I was told that it was primed and not to wash it for 30 days, which I did not wash it for longer than that. When I did wash it the paint was bubbled on the bumper again, I immediately called Scott T and asked him if the painter warrantied his work, he said why do you ask? I explained it to him and he said yes that the guy did warranty it. for 6 mos now we've been back and forth on the phone. I would call and he would say he had to speak with the paint guy and he would call me back... a month later I'd call him back to get the same response. Finally last week I called him again and he said he'd call me right back...so this week I sent a message via their internet and asked to speak with the owner... Lisa called me within minutes and after explaining to her my situation, she said she'd give it to the GM, because he can make final decisions, within minutes Scott called me back and wasn't quite so friendly and said he never said the work was warrantied, that they did what they said they'd do and they weren't spending anymore money on my used car. I called back to speak with the GM and Lisa said she gave him the message and he said he would call me back...I've called 4 times since then and he has yet to return my call. I forgot to add that 2 wks after I purchased the car, it started acting up, 2 mos later Nissan finally figured it out and put a brand new transmission in the car. Scott said this wasn't their problem since they had no way of knowing that a problem existed, after all it was a used car. They are crooks, do not follow through on anything unless it's going to cost them money, and they're customer service sucks. This is my first review, my next is going to go across facebook, and possibly the billboard right by their dealership. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had. I read a review that one of their staff members wrote stating if they were the worst dealership then that person must not have ever been to Norman Chrysler Jeep Dodge. Well I have and they had awesome customer service, followed up with us for 6 mos after the vehicle was purchased and whenever we've had a question we got an answer and a return call. BEWARE OF BIG RED SPORTS AND IMPORTS... THEY WILL SCREW YOU....I WILL TEL ANYONE THAT WILL LISTEN TO BEWARE! More
Dealership took advantage of a young man’s first car buying experience. I went in to buy the car, my first car, and they tried every trick in the book. My dad finally got them to agree to the price. The buying experience. I went in to buy the car, my first car, and they tried every trick in the book. My dad finally got them to agree to the price. The finance guy tried to sell us everything but my dad only wanted GAP insurance. They did not have the car in stock but had to bring it in from another dealer. No one would call us back on the approval, on when the car would be ready, when we could pick it up. Micheal, Calvin and Jared are the finance people there. NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING….Finally my dad takes care fo it and get the rate and payment quoted to him, I have to go pick it up…..Well they added a warranty of 1400 without telling me, hid the paperworkme it was my promise to provide insurance and folded the [papers and escoreted me to my car. No window tint done, no spoiler as agreed in the deal. Now I have to pay extra….No walk through. My dad reads the paperwork and they screwed me over. No salesperson, or sales manager Scott will call back. THe GM Jared, 405-808-3272 won’t return phone calls as he is “TOO BUSY TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS” What a sham, I called back today and they fired Micheal the finance guy….Hmmm SHOCK THERE!! My advice, they are crooked and will not do you right. GO to BOB MOORE in Edmund OK…they are a good dealership with honesty! More
Went to Big Red on Saturday to look at and drive a few cars. They did not have Souls on the lot that we could drive and only one Rio that was not the package we were looking for at all. Left them our nu cars. They did not have Souls on the lot that we could drive and only one Rio that was not the package we were looking for at all. Left them our number to call as soon as they got a shipment of Souls in and we would drive right up. Its about a 45 minutes drive. No word. Thursday i look on the website and there are several listed in the right price range and ONE that was the exact color and package we wanted. Called at 6 pm to see if it was still available, lady said yes. 6;15 called back to make sure since we are driving up now and that is the only one, we have a check in hand. Yes, it here on the lot. The salesman Dustin calls and confirms the car is on the lot. We get there about 7:00 and they go to running like mice looking for the car. 5-6 different people have that blank look and finally one guy says, "we sold that car this afternoon" They want to know if we are interested in looking at another one...REALLY? I told them I do not appreciate being lied to. I bought a brand new Sorento there 5 months prior that they ordered for me so that was no comparison to this experience, I told them this would be my LAST time at their dealership. I dont play games and dont appreciate people lying and wasting my time. They could care less. Another thing that i let slide until now, back in January my son in law bought a vehicle from them and gave them my information and they said they would send me a $200 referral check, Ya, that never happened even after he called them several times... LIARS - as bad as a thief in my book. Typically car sales slimesmanship - stay away. More
WHERE DO I BEGIN.... WELL LIKE MANY PEOPLE LOOKING TO BUY A CAR I CHECKED BIG REDS WEBSITE AND WAS INTERESTED IN A WHITE 2005 PONTIAC VIBE AND A SILVER PONTIAC G6. THEY HAD FOR SALE. UPON DRIVING TO THERE LO A CAR I CHECKED BIG REDS WEBSITE AND WAS INTERESTED IN A WHITE 2005 PONTIAC VIBE AND A SILVER PONTIAC G6. THEY HAD FOR SALE. UPON DRIVING TO THERE LOT I MET UP WITH BRYANAND HE CONTINUED TO WALK ME AROUND THE DEALERSHIP PRETENDING THAT THE CAR WAS JUST AROUND THE CORNER. AFTER NOT FINDING THE VIBE HE PRETENDED TO BE SURPRISED AND DECIDED TO SHOW ME ANOTHER VIBE O THERE LOT THAT WAS OBVIOUSLY BEAT RAGGED PRETTY HARD AND I WAS NOT INTERESTED. INSTEAD I TEST DROVE THE PONTIAC G6 HE HAD ON HIS LOT WHICH DROVE WELL AND I BECAME INTERESTED. THE ONLINE STATED PRICE WAS 7,8** BUT WHEN ASKED I WAS TOLD THE INTERNET PRICE REFLECTED IS ONCE A 15 % DEPOSIT IS PUT DOWN ON THE CAR. VERY MISLEADING AND TYPICAL DEALERSHIP JARGAIN. THOUGH THROUGH NEGOTIATING A TRADE WE CAME TO AQN AGREEMENT AND I PROCEEDED TO TRADE MY 03 KIA RIO AND SIGNED THE SAME DAY. IT SEEMED THAT ALL WAS WELL UNTIL I DID NOT GET MY TITLE WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH. AFTER 3 WEEKS I WAS CALLING DAILY AND GOT EVERY LIE IN THE BOOK WHY MY TITLE WASNT TO ME YET. THESE LIES OINCLUDED WE HAD THE WRONG ADRESS AND ITS IN THE MAIL RIGHT NOW. FINALLY AFTER 1 MONTH AND A HALF I DROVE DOWN TO THE DEALERSHIP AND TOSSED THE KEYS ON THE SALESMANS DESK AND TOLD THEM TOO TAKE THEIR CAR BACK. I AFTER MORE NEGOTIATING I FOUND OUT THAT THEY HAD NEVER PAYED OFF THE PREVIOUS BANK LOAN ON THE CAR. THEY PROMISED ME TAX TAG AND TITLE PAID IF I GIVE THEM 1 MORE MONTH. THEY DID COME THROUGH AND I GOT MY TITLE. I HAD ALSO BROUGHT A FRIEND IN A WEEK AFTER I GOT MY CAR AND MY FRIEND BOUGHT A CAR WHICH I WAS PROMISED A 300 DOLLAR REFERAL. LONG STORY SHORT AFTER TRYING TO COLLECT THAT 300 AND HEARING AEXCUSES FOR 4 MONTHS THEY TOLD ME THEY HAD LOST TOO MUCH MONEY ON THAT DEAL AND SINCE I DIDNT HAVE ANY WRITTEN PROOF THAT THEY OWED ME NOTHING. THEY DID GIVE 100 DOLLARS FOR THE REFERAL AFTER I CALLED MY FRIEND AND HAD HER GIVE STATEMENT AND PAPERWORK WITH DATES OF THE PURCHASE. LONG STORY SHORT DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM AND GET EVERYTHING ON WRITING WITH SIGNITURES. IF THEY WONT DO IT THEY PLAN ON SHANKING YOU. PS THIS ALL HAPPENED MARCH/APRIL OF 2011 More
WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT BUY FROM BIG RED KIA! THEY WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF YOUR VEHICLE WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM. The "general manager" denied any responsibility for needing to fix my mother-in-law's car even NOT TAKE CARE OF YOUR VEHICLE WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM. The "general manager" denied any responsibility for needing to fix my mother-in-law's car even though she drove it off the lot as a DEFECTIVE vehicle! My mother-in-law has 20,000 miles on her car and her front tires were worn down to the cord on the inside, they acknowledged her car was way out of alignment but denied responsibility and stated that it was all her fault and that THEY weren't going to do ANYTHING, they didn't even want to LOOK at her car to service it! From the moment we drove up to the service department, we were not greeted at the front as promised- "Honk for Service." We finally walked into the service department where we were treated as though we were a problem. Their customer service is non-existent! We told them about the problems we were having and were told that the tires being in such condition was due to "driving habits". My husband asked if it was a regular occurrence for a car with 20,000 miles to have two front tires that were worn so badly on one side she only stated that it must be my mother-in-law’s fault. We left the car so that it could be checked out by a technician, approximately 15 minutes later we received a phone call saying that the alignment was out and that we needed to purchase 4 new tires and that nothing would be covered under her original warranty OR her EXTENDED warranty. We were told that none of the warranties mattered because “driving down the road and hitting a pot hole could put it out of alignment.” We proceeded to take the car to another auto service company where they informed us that we only needed to replace the two damaged tires (The other two being “like new”) and the alignment had been dangerously out of whack (which we had repaired) and that there was nothing that they could do to fix the “un-adjustable” parts of the car that are out of specs due to the fact that the car was made like this! They are selling unsafe vehicles. Please share this with any friends or family who may be thinking of buying a new car or have purchased a KIA from Big Red, they NEED to have their cars checked out immediately!!! More

We drove off the lot ( yes we test drove it first) and the check engine lig throughout the process that of course we didnt notice until the next day. We drove off the lot ( yes we test drove it first) and the check engine light came on. They did nothing about it. They were actually VERY rude whenever we went back and asked them to fix it. I traded in my car for a 2012 Kia Sorento on September 17. I kept getting phone calls and delinquent notices in the mail from where my old car was financed through. I contacted Big Red every time I receiv 17. I kept getting phone calls and delinquent notices in the mail from where my old car was financed through. I contacted Big Red every time I received a notice in mail or a phone call. They said they were "going to get it taken care of" either that day or the next... Well, that was a lie! And I know for a FACT they sold my old car around a week after I traded it in because that is what TWO of their employees told us!!! Now tell me how that works!!?? So, now I am having to make a credit dispute because of them! Every time I ever called BIG RED, someone would always give me or my fiance the run-around! They basically told us that "there's nothing we can do about it. Guess you should have kept your Nissan and made payments on it." I finally had to get flat out rude to speak to anyone! It's STILL not taken care of and I am NOT happy! I will say that if you do feel like this is the only place you must go, make sure you get a RECEIPT or a document stating that you traded the car in and it was in the dealership's possession on "such and such date". Terrible experience.... More
I went to Big Red Sport and Imports to inquire about three different vehicles I saw on the internet not 30min. prior to my visit. When I got there I asked the salesman about the three vehicles and only three different vehicles I saw on the internet not 30min. prior to my visit. When I got there I asked the salesman about the three vehicles and only one of them was even on the lot. When I went to test drive the only vehicle they did have it wouldn't even start and they had to jump it to get it running. Once it did start up It had 10,000 more miles on it then they had listed on the internet! Still trying to give them the benefit of the doubt I agreed to test drive another car on the lot that met my criteria. This one also would not start, and needed to be jumped! I was fed up at this point, but I felt bad for the salesman and agreed to test drive another vehicle. I drove it, and liked it just to find out it was way above the price range I had told them I was in! Finally I had enough and left. When I got home I checked the internet again to see if the vehicles they had listed that were not on the lot were still listed, and they were! NOT TO MENTION, the vehicle that I actually drove and liked was listed on their site as well.....for nearly $2,000.00 less than what they quoted me! I would not recommend shopping with Big Red Sport and Imports unless you like being taken advantage of! More
There are a lot of things I appreciate in buying something expensive and thats upfront and honesty. I saw the malibu on autotrader and came, drove it, and worked out the numbers. No smoke, no delay something expensive and thats upfront and honesty. I saw the malibu on autotrader and came, drove it, and worked out the numbers. No smoke, no delay, only my salesman and the managers doing everything in their power to make me feel comfortable. Lot of bad dealerships out there that jst look at the customer as a number on a sheet of paper. They even threw in tinting my windows for free. Car drives like a dream and I get pretty good gas mileage. After the financing was over, JT introduced me to the service manager, theresa, who was as sweet as she could be. The amazing thing was how busy they all were and yet not at any time did i feel slighted despite the fact they were attending to a dozen other customers as the time. They should be proud of themselves, and I will definitely be a returning customer. More
