I saw a car that I was interested in on the internet. The car had just been listed and the price was outstanding based ont the year and specs it was offering along with the unbelieveably low mileage. I immediately called and spoke with a young lady who was very polite and made an appointment to see, test drive and ultimately purchase. I made my appt for the next day. The next morning I spoke with the same young lady several times because of conflicts in my schedule. The last called made prior to my visit was to let her I know I was on my way and that it would take me about and hour to get there, but I was still coming. I arrive. I had been told that the vehicle would be pulled up and ready for my hubby and I to see when I got there. We saw the vehicle being pulled up to the front. After about a 7-10 min wait for our pre-arranged salesman, the same young lady from the phone came to us and introduced us to a new salesman we would be working with. She explained the vehicle we came to look at and he frankly stated it was sold the night before. I couldnt believe my ears. It was the same car that had been pulled to the front, but apparently for the new owner to come pick up. Upon hearing, my hubby and I walked out to leave and no one tried to apologize or even really offer anything. After walking outside I turned back around. I work in the service business and know the importance of client feedback so I went back in and requested to speak to a manager. After waiting, my original salesman, Ahmad, came over, apologized and told me I would be speaking with LaTanya Crawford, Internet Mgr, regarding the situation. He was very polite and seemingly sincere and I appreciated it. When Ms. Crawford came over she spoke with me, she listened and politely answered my allegations with acceptance and apologies. She then asked if there was any other vehicle I would be interested in and I declined, however she offered to look throughout their network to see if there was any other cars with similar specs. She did find one and and had me come look at the online printout. It had about 100,000 more miles than the car they had. While I appreciated the effort, the 100,000 mileage diffrent amused me. They thanked me and asked for my info to stay in touch and we left and made our lengthy trip back home. Overall, I will say, I did appreciate their sincerities and how they listened. Car shopping is daunting because of the fact that in all honesty, most of these sales people can give a damn about you, your family needs, bank account, all they want is that commission, and the higher the better. So I will give SONS HONDA credit for that. What I did stress is in the future, please verify the car is still presently being offered. No one wants their time to be wasted and after traveling an hour and a half to come to them, I was very displeased to know I spoke with the young lady several timesm before coming, thus giving her an opportunity to quickly check. I would have also apppreciated a minor incentive, like a $10 gas card or something to show they truly valued my (future) business. They stated they may have more cars in the future that I may be interested in, but after wasting a whole half of tank of my gas, I highly doubt I will being traveling back down there. More
I have tried three times now to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. My sales representative, Kevin Frye has always been amazing. However I can not say the same for the management. I worked with Andre Smith for a week making sure that everything was perfect for the deal that I needed to make the sale work. I provided them with all information and what I would be willing to do as far as payments and down payments, trade in, and payoff. I provided the credit application and all information that would be needed to seal the deal before making the nearly hour and a half drive down to this dealership. I received confirmation via email at the end of a string of about 30 emails between myself and the dealership that everything was in place and the deal met with what I was looking for. So I drove 50 miles to the dealership with my kids that evening. What a waste of our whole families time just to be told when I got down there that not only was the payment higher, not inclusive of all the features I asked for, but also that I would need a down payment due at the time of the deal. Wouldn't even offer me a hold check option. Andre continually pointed out that it was a nice vehicle downplaying my current vehicle which was a 1 year old model of the vehicle I was looking at. Fortunately for me I was able to get the deal worked out the following day at Gwinnett Place Honda who tried a similar stunt on me last year, but was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING this year. I know that all car dealerships are in it to make money, and I understand that things don't always work out, but the blatant dishonesty of Andre Smith advising me falsely that he had everything worked out is appalling. I will never work with Son's Honda again which is a shame with as nice and professional as Kevin Frye was with my whole family. UPDATED 7/23/2012 To Mr. Felton, I wish I could speak with you regarding my experience, because all options were not explored. I made the exact deal the following day, so the only difference was that Andre Smith was not trying to make a deal. I provided EVERYTHING to the dealership before making the trip and was under the impression that all was complete until we started doing paperwork and Andre came up to me with a much higher payment. As I mentioned over and over, if the deal wasn't going to work, I wouldn't have wasted my evening. I would have just gone straight to Gwinnett Place Honda, who did make the deal work. I also wanted to share with anyone who reads my review and the comment left in reply, that the gift card mentioned in the message from the dealership has never been received. I waited 2 weeks from the date that they had already shipped the giftcard before posting so it can't just be lost in the mail. This shows again a level of dishonesty from a dealership. The message seems to be just here to save face. More
Although price was the initial reason for looking a car with Sons Honda, my experience with BJ Jones and LaTanya Crawford restored my faith in purchasing a car through a dealership. He was thourough and prompt in his responses. He gained my trust and allowed for Sons Honda to be recommended to friends. His continued contact right through to letting me know that my tag was available at the county office is a great example of professional, quality customer service. More

We decided it was time to trade in my 2003 Accord, but we were undecided on what new vehicle to purchase. During our initial visit/test drive Tim Baxter was wonderful. He was very patient as we test drove several different models on the lot. We had a tired, hungry four year old with us that Tim not only brought some bottled water, but he listened to her rambling stories as my husband and I took turns driving. He was very knowledgable about the different models we test drove as well, answering every question. When we told Tim we were going to look at other car brands, there was no high pressure sale. He not only mentioned a con of one of the mentioned brands but he also pointed out a positive, which I respected. Tim followed up with phone calls and kept us up to date on current incentives available thru Honda. Unfortunately, when it was time to purchase Tim was not working, but he continued to take care of us by referring us to Oscar. He had a smile that could light up the already sunny day. His disposition is an asset to your company. The hardest decision to make was what color to choose. Oscar had our 2003 Accord appraised while my husband and I made our decision. When the "numbers" game began there was no game at all. Another pleasant surprise. They gave us a fair price for my trade and a good price for the new Accord. When Oscar presented the figures it was very easy and comfortable to say "this looks good, where do we sign?". We had been pre approved for our loan prior to coming back to the dealership. Otto, in finance gave us an interest rate a full 2% below the credit unions rate of 3.9. Not only did he beat their interest rate, he called the next day to say he had an even better rate for us at 0.9%. Again another pleasant surprise from Sons Honda. So, the answer is YES we would highly recommend Sons Honda. I already have made recommendations, and have told several people how wonderful your dealership is well to, "deal" with. Julie Fincj More

There are times when the rule for purchasing a new vehicle is not a pleasant experience. However, Tim Baxter and Sons Honda is an exception to that rule. Tim was very accomodating and offered absolu vehicle is not a pleasant experience. However, Tim Baxter and Sons Honda is an exception to that rule. Tim was very accomodating and offered absolutely no pressure in selecting and obtaining a vehicle of our choice. Tim and the staff at Sons make you feel welcome and create a at-home atmosphere. The showroom and service area is impressively clean and spotless. I will definitely be a return customer and without hesitation recommend Tim and Sons Honda to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle. More
The Employee was Tim Baxter he was very nice and new what he was talking about but then i went home and saw on the TV the deals that sons honda had and i was not given those opions.One of the deals was a fre he was talking about but then i went home and saw on the TV the deals that sons honda had and i was not given those opions.One of the deals was a free month and the price was much higher than i paid.I don;t know if you can do anything now but i thought i would try?
