Sommer's Buick GMC Subaru

I went to Sommers to check out a Terrain and Joe immediately came up to ask if he could be of help. Joe made me feel very comfortable and took me for a test drive. He did not make me feel that I could only drive around the block but, instead, let me drive down the freeway for several miles. This was important to me because I have an extremely bad back and need more time in a vehicle before knowing if it will work for me or not because I drive a great distance to and from work everyday. Joe did not bug me but told me to think about what I wanted and to give him a call. He called the next day to see how my back was from the drive and to find out exactly what I was looking for in choosing the options I wanted. It took a few days and visits to a couple of other dealerships but was most impressed with everyone I encounterd at Sommers and really wanted to be able to work with Joe. Joe found the 2012 Terrain that I wanted, we worked out a decent deal and I picked up my car yesterday. My husband and I were both very impressed with Joe because he was both professional and personable. I look forward to my future experiences with Sommers. More

I did etensive research on the internet for a SUV that would meet my needs. I had narrowed my list down to three models when I came across a listing for a Subaru Forester at Sommer's Subaru in Mequon, Wi would meet my needs. I called about the vehicle and was told to ask for Jeremy Stilb when I came in to see it. From the moment I walked in the door I was impressed with the dealership and with the salesman. Jeremy was very informative and I really appreciated his low key sales approach. He allowed me the drive time to get to know the vehicle and to discuss it with my family before making any decision. Sommer's was the first dealership we visited, just to get a feeling for what we wanted to purchase. Our old truck kept going and we visited MANY more dealerships. He called with just that right truck and we bought it...from the first dealership we walked in to. The truck is beautiful. The service department actually cleaned it and presented it with pride. By far the best experience we have ever had buying a car. My partner and I visited the dealership to purchase one vehicle but felt so welcomed that we ended up buying two. We had gone to other dealerships prior to considering Subaru just because of familiarity with other brands.Friends recommended Subaru because of their experiences with reliability and performance in the winter, so we tried the local dealership. The salesperson allowed us to try three vehicles and spent about 5 hours with us letting us test drive and experiment with them. We liked the cars a lot and appreciated all the time we were allotted without pressure to compare between the models. In the past, we have both had bad experiences with dealers who do not seem to believe in their product or just generally lack enthusiasm - not the case at Sommer's. Our encounter with the staff at Sommer's was respectful and positive all the way through - in fact, it was great fun. GREAT JOB! More
