dishonest business practices In January 2014 I contacted So Cal Auto in response to a Craig's List ad for a used 5th wheel RV for sale. I corresponded with Mike via phone, text, a In January 2014 I contacted So Cal Auto in response to a Craig's List ad for a used 5th wheel RV for sale. I corresponded with Mike via phone, text, and e-mail for approx. 3 weeks. We discussed the vehicle condition, viewed photos, and negotiated a price. During these discussions I was given written assurances that all systems were functioning properly and all equipment and appliances were in good working order. Early February I made the 3 hour drive to Vista to see the vehicle and inspect it. During this inspection there were some issues that Mike assured me would be taken care of and again I was advised that all systems were working properly. Because of where the vehicle was parked in their lot and the lack of a waste disposal site the waste system could not properly be inspected. Again I was given assurance that all the systems, including the washing machine, etc. were all working properly. I negotiated a price, arranged delivery to my location, and gave a deposit. Mike assured me the unit would be serviced, cleaned, and negotiated repairs completed upon delivery. When delivery was made none of this had been completed but Mike made arrangements to come back the next week to complete them. At time I had no reason to not believe this would happen. When I attempted to connect the waste system I discovered it was not working properly and it created a sewage spill at my site. I discovered the washing machine did not work either. I immediately contacted Mike and he accepted total responsiblity and assured me he would take care of the repairs at his expense. It has now been 2 months and nothing has been repaired. Mike no longer responds to any attempts to contact him. He has set at least 2 appointments to come do the repairs and has not shown up at all. The first couple weeks I was given several excuses why he couldn't come but kept assuring me he would take care of the issues. When Mike would not return my calls my wife contacted his business and was hung up on by Dan. My last correspondence advised Mike that I intend to take legal action to remedy this issue. More
