I had the worst experience with the service department. Took my car in 3 times and the issue was still not corrected. I will not be back to have my car serviced at Smithtown ever again. Awful experience with your service department. Enough to make my next car not a Volkswagen. I’ve been a customer there since 2003. I made an appointment to bring my car in to check the brakes. Called the following morning, my car still hadn’t been looked at! What’s the point of scheduling an appointment? Service manager never got on the phone. By the way, same thing happened last time I had to bring my car in. It sat for 5 days before it was even looked at. This is a 2021 Jetta. One more thing to note. I have 23,000 miles on this car. When I brought it in for the 20,000 mile check-up, no mention was made about my brakes. 3,000 miles later I was down to the rotor. You tell me, did they do a thorough job at the 23,000 mile check-up? I think not. I will not be using VW service anymore. More
