Always consistent and trusted Not only do I feel like I know Tom already, I’m always trusting of his suggestions and he always tries to help me get the best value for my service. Also the upstairs with WiFi, coffee and snacks is key, especially since the last time I was there for my 40k service I got two hours of work accomplished on my laptop. It probably costs more to go to Smithtown Volkswagen for service, but I’d rather spend more to have VW-trained and experienced mechanics. More

Because of them, and that service dept, My lease is up and I'm gong back to volkswagen and hope to be a customer for the next three years. More
Car Key program Came in to have a car key programmed, which cost $250 to purchase. Took close to 2 hours for the dealer to program the key, and when I was called back Came in to have a car key programmed, which cost $250 to purchase. Took close to 2 hours for the dealer to program the key, and when I was called back into the office, the rep tried to sell me on a list of other repairs that needed to be done. These included a new air filter and tire alignment. I just had these done at another VW Dealer about a month ago...All I needed and asked for was to have my key programmed. So I basically waited for them for close to 2 hours on what should be a very quick process. Ultimately, they charged me $99 to program the already $250 key, and made me sign off on the two repairs that I denied. Guess what? Now my old key (which was originally a backup, and only used for less than a month) doesn’t work with the push to start in my car. Since I got in the car with both keys, I didn’t realize the problem until after I got home much later. More
