Used sales manager is a liar. He sold us a 22 Taos that needed rear struts, radio not working, transmission issues and rattling coming from the engine compartment. Service center He sold us a 22 Taos that needed rear struts, radio not working, transmission issues and rattling coming from the engine compartment. Service center obviously did not conduct the “multipoint inspection” and said the rattling was acorns when it was an issue with the manifold gasket. All he said when a complaint was made was “it’s a used car, what do you want from me” More
My AC broke down at the worst possible time right in the heatwave. This is bad for my high blood pressure. Thankfully, Smithtown VW service had an appointment that week and was able to help me. My service representative was Jasmine Khan and my technician was Josh. They let me know I needed some new bushings on my control arm too, which is pretty serious. They set me up with a second appointment for an install of all the new parts and somehow rigged my AC to work for the week I had to wait to get time off, VERY appreciated. Jasmine was SUPER helpful and informative updating me about everything. I was able to drop the car off and get a ride home from John, who was great conversation. I got the car back and I am now super frosty for the rest of the summer. Thanks for the hard work and convenience guys. I know who to see when I finally upgrade my Rabbit. More

I walked into Smithtown VW with a car and price already in mind. My sales rep Brandon was knowledgeable & after speaking with his manager they accepted my offer with little to no haggling. They didn’t brin in mind. My sales rep Brandon was knowledgeable & after speaking with his manager they accepted my offer with little to no haggling. They didn’t bring the finance manager over to haggle with me, which I told them I would walk out if they did. It was the easiest & quickest transaction for a car purchase that I’ve ever had. Three days later I was driving out of the dealership with my new VW. Very happy with my purchase! I will definitely refer Smithtown VW to family & friends. More

I've actually had another service writer come out to ask me if I need to "call my husband" to discuss the suggested service during a previous visit. Semi-insulting, however IF I am calling anyone it would be my father, who taught me a ton after a career in the business, but I really love the text messages with the service options complete with pictures. Nice touch. More
