We drove 1 1/2 hours to purchase a '13 Grand Cherokee from KIM SCARPINATO at Smith Haven Jeep. She quoted a SPECIFIC price in Black & White via e-mail. She never showed up for our appointment and another from KIM SCARPINATO at Smith Haven Jeep. She quoted a SPECIFIC price in Black & White via e-mail. She never showed up for our appointment and another sales representative took over. When we told the Sales Representative the final sales number his face dropped to the floor and started to sweat...NO JOKE!!!! He stated that Kim made a mistake and that she must have been confused. To say the least Smith Haven Jeep is the WORST dealership for PROFESSIONALISM and KEEPING TO THEIR WORD. Do not walk but RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM SMITH HAVEN JEEP!!!!!! THEY ARE BOTTOM FEEDERS!!!!! More
This dealership is by far the worst dealership I have ever encountered. I've never been more compelled to write a review then after visiting this place. They have no problem taking your deposit when you walk through the door but when you leave forget about trying to get someone on the phone. They are completely unresponsive and lack the professionalism that they so need. Every time you call to speak with a manager, your salesperson or a finance manager they are always on the phone and you NEVER receive a call back. Trust me when I say this place is in no way doing that much business that everyone in the entire place is on the phone. Buyer beware if you are looking to work with a company who has no clue what's going on,then well, Smithaven Jeep Chrysler Dodge is your place! Don't forget it takes 5 days to get them to return your deposit. Still waiting on that! More

Worst dealership ever created. Walked out on them a few times, told myself not to go back, but like an idiot I did. Scammers top to bottom. Try bait and switch, do not prep cars properly, try to add mone times, told myself not to go back, but like an idiot I did. Scammers top to bottom. I drove for 2 months almost with technically no registration because they did not file the paperwork with DMV. Also did not pay off balance on loan of my trade in, even after many phone calls. Had to call bank to explain what these morons were doing. I could write a book on this place. No one in their right mind would deal with this place. Their "under new mamnagement" signs are a complete joke! Beware, there are a whole host of Smithaven dealerships in the area, do yourself a favor and avoid like the plague. They also go on these review sites and create fake positive reviews. Just look at the few in a row, which I have reported them all. Look up the BBB rating, that site does not lie! More

THIS DEALERSHIP IS THE WORST OF THE WORST. I ATTEMPTED TO PURCAHSE A USED VEHICLE THERE AND THEY LOW BALLED ME ON MY TRADE, AND HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME THAT LOW BALLED ME ON MY TRADE SINCE THEY WERE TRYI TO PURCAHSE A USED VEHICLE THERE AND THEY LOW BALLED ME ON MY TRADE, AND HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME THAT LOW BALLED ME ON MY TRADE SINCE THEY WERE TRYING TO "GET RID OF ME" BECASUE THEY HAD ME DRIVE 2 HOURS TO LOOK AT A CAR THAT WAS SOLD. THEY THEN TOOK A 2ND DEPOSIT FROM ME AND I HAD TO CHASE THEM DOWN TO GET MY MONEY BACK. THEY ALSO TOLD ME THEY TRIED TO LOW BALL THE OTHER BUYER ON HER TRADE TO "GET RID OF HER" SO THAT THEY COULD SELL ME THE CAR. TO TOP OFF THIS TERRIBLE SITUATION THE MANAGER IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND NASTY, HUNG UP ON ME AS WELL AS REFUSING TO FURNISH ME WITH A RECEIPT FOR PROOF THAT THEY REFUNDED MY DEPOSIT. I WAS TOLD CHECK MY STATEMENT NEXT MONTH AND SEE IF THE MONEY IS RETURNED. DESPITE THE CAR BEING SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE AS WELL AS MYSELF, THEY WERE STILL CALLING ME, NOT REALIZING THAT I HAD A DEPOSIT ON THE VEHICLE TRYING TO GET ME TO COME INTO THE DEALERSHIP TO SEE THE CAR BECAUSE IT WAS STILL AVAILABLE. AFTER THEY CONFIRMED THE VEHICLE WAS AVAILABLE, I TOLD THEM IT WAS SOLD AND I HAD A DEPOSIT ON THE VEHICLE ALREADY. THEY APOLOGIZED AND CLAIMED THEY WERE NOT AWARE OF THE SOLD SITUATION. WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF HANGING UP THE PHONE WITH ME I RECEIVE A CALL FROM THE SAME PERSON THINKING I WAS SOMEONE ELSE NAMED "RICHARD" I ASKED WHAT NUMBER HE CALLED AND HE RATTLED OFF A (919) ARE CODE I LOOKED IT UP IT IS NORTH CAROLINA. HE HAD MIXED UP MY NUMBER WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S NUMBER AND CALLED REGARDING THE SAME CAR, AND WAS TRYING TO GET ME TO COME IN TO SEE THE CAR CLAIMING IT WAS STILL AVAILABLE. I JUST HUNG UP AT THAT POINT. THEY WOULD HAVE MADE SOMEONE COME FROM NORTH CAROLINA TO SEE A SOLD CAR. More
